If your new to the community I assume you checked out the town before you moved here. Wouldn't you have known that was all that Hodgenville has?

So, go on and buy elsewhere. lol The rest of us do that too. Depends on what items a person needs whether they can get it here or not. Good grief...nothing to be so upset about. If it makes you that upset, move back to wherever you left (I can only assume there were stores on every corner there that spoiled you), shop online and have things delivered, or hell...open a store yourself and stock it with whatever you please.

there's a dollar store, a family dollar. and pamida isn't that bad. the reason it's not packed is because this is a small town and not everybody shops there. get over it. etown is 10 miles from hodgenville, not that big of a deal. go to horse cave and greensburg. not saying nothing bad about those similar small towns, but we have a lil more than they do shoping wise by just having a pamida. just get over it.

Hodgenville has had difficulties with their store leadership and this has affected internal store operations. Keep a little faith as they regroup and get back to a higher level of operation. Not easy to run stores these days in the current market and against so much competition especially considering delivery and supply issues. Very difficult to estimate demand in this town when ordering ad merchandise. To much and you go overstock and this impacts your precious open to buy. Don't order enough and you get customers upset. Not easy to balance.

I have lived in Hodgenville for 13 yrs. I myself wished we had a Kroger or Wal-mart or a Target or something. We had a Planet Dollar years ago but went outta buisness. Pamida had so much more stuff a few years ago and the prices are ridiculous!
