I live in WNY NJ and for MTA to connect NY TO NJ (Hoboken) will make my trip to Brooklyn (Coney Is) Instead of spending $3.00 to go from blvd into port athor.(42ndst)then pay $2.25 for the trian both ways that comes out to $10.50 when I can pay $2.75 into hoboken then $2.25 onto the 7 line trian then transfer to the Q .the my trip comes out cheaper and quicker

Since MTA runs a few trains from Hoboken, it makes sense to extend Subway line #7 to Hoboken.
Hoboken could be developed as a major transportation hub by NJTransit by diverting a few Penn station bound trains to Hoboken. At the same time, the passengers will get the benefit of using their single ticket to get to New York.
The best option is to bring PATH train survice under MTA Administration. By doing so, PATH ticket cost can be increased to that of MTA tickets, while the overall commute cost can be reduced.
