Yeah, that got brought out about 2 weeks after the suicide. According to the media there was nothing unusual about it and it was your basic plane crash. I don't buy it. I also know the LCSD had been under investigation for stuff disappearing from the evidence rooms. Was at one point blamed on the cleaning staff.

You can not buy it if you choose, but the plane crash had nothing to do with it. The plane that had a minor crash was a private plane owned by a Taylor in Lovington. There was nothing more to the evidence issue.
It just seems that people love to talk to hear themselves and too many make it up as they go. Dime35 is in that group.

Chill Out, I just want to find out the whole story. Believing there is more to things than the "official" story is not wanting hear myself talk.

Actually, Chill out, the investigation of LCSD has been going on for quite awhile, and just because nothing conclusive has been "found" doesn't mean there's nothing to it. As for the rest, it's interesting for someone whose post is longest to complain about someone liking to hear themself speak. Also, there's no need to take potshots at someone who has the audacity to ask questions.

It boils down to whether you choose to believe rediculous rumors or facts released by reputable sources like the State Police.

The state police who have had people charged with rape, theft and a multitude of other crimes. They aren't reputable. The constantly stonewall releasing information. You are naive if you think they wouldn't help cover up the facts of a fellow law enforcement officer's suicide.

I want to know why. Why a man suddenly blows his brains out after conversing with his wife. I want to know why a supposed private plane crash that was an innocent plane crash was ignored for two weeks. I want to know why everything was made to sound so rosy and rah rah Coffman after he killed himself when it was a known fact a lot of his deputies didn't like the job he was doing or trust him.

I know that 10 days before he passed, that the civil rights attorney for victims in the former deputy surratt case made a courtesy call to Coffman, to let him know that FBI will start an investagation looking into the accused wrong doings of his department. Now if that has anything to do with it, who knows? I am sure that can be a very highly stressful job, But i am sorry he did that.RIP

And the public should know things like that, Fly. If the FBI is investigating a law enforcement agency, that is important.

I do know that the commission was having issues with Kim spending more time at "trainings" than he was spending in the office and that there had been multiple complaints that his department was not taking calls seriously. I wonder what else he got himself into?
