Why did the state road decide to spray along the roadsides. I think it looks awful. I thought the idea was to beautify our county. All that dead vegetation looks as bad as trash lying along the roadside. They have equipment to cut it..cutting it would'nt have taken anymore time and energy as spraying it, and it would have looked a whole lot better. Anyone visiting our area will get a really bad impression.

I agree.....and I was standing in my yard the day they sprayed out here and it was nasty.....I went inside the rest of the day but the smell still is nasty on warm days........they used to use a huge brush hog machine here but now they are poisoning us instead......oh well Monsanto has to sell the left over agent orange to someone!

I agree with you. Whatever they used even killed leaves and branches way up into the trees. I first noticed it across the river and today I noticed the bottom of summers street. Whatever they used I'm sure was dangerous to breath, especially for children and the elderly. It just makes everything around it look bad. I think people should call and complain about it so they won't do this again. We live in the area, we should have some say in this.

I believe Brookie knows what he is talking about. Do you? We are over 50 and know all about Vietnam. Did you know this? It was made here in WV!

Monsanto coughed up 93 million to clean Nitro, WV up.
Seroiusly there is no telling what they are spraying. It's not good regardless.

I did'nt say anything about it being "agent orange". But, whatever they used it killed everything it touched. If humans breathe that spray, it can't be good. The man who lives on the hill at the end of the temple street bridge is probably angry. They sprayed his entire bank and I heard he planted those vines there to help hold the bank. Plus...it looks awful.

"Truth", in fact, I do know what agent orange is...it's main component is dioxin which is one of the most dangerous chemicals known to man....and I figure it is a component of the crap these people sprayed along Route 20 this past week poisoning the ground, the plants and people forever! I served during the war you make reference to........I have many friends who have had lifelong problems because of exposure to agent orange.....but you go ahead and advocate the use of these chemicals and others and try to belittle people who find their use bad and dangerous, it's ok...we understand your ignorance. Your posts are hardly comprehensible for the horrible spelling and lack of good grammar but I did get your point I think.
