True...here us another one.

“Republicans approve of the American farmer, but they are willing to help him go broke. They stand four-square for the American home--but not for housing. They are strong for labor--but they are stronger for restricting labor's rights. They favor minimum wage--the smaller the minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all--but they won't spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine--for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing--but only when the private power companies get their rake-off. They think American standard of living is a fine thing--so long as it doesn't spread to all the people. And they admire of Government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it.”

Thanks for the brilliant post. Please keep posting. Republican posts like yours are the best ammunition we Dems have against your party. No one could want to be like you.

My daughter, who is a teacher, agrees with you 100%. She wants to know your views on discipline and the common core.
Discipline depends on the age. I know elementary schools have tried it all, from pulling cards to timeouts. I don't really think that discipline at this age is a major issue. Teachers should probably choose what's best for them. I don't know enough about the problems in high school. I know that suspensions and detention don't really work, but I'l never be for corporal punishment in any form. The "bad kid fort" wasn't a very good idea. I know too little about common core as well. We need standardized curricula. But I don't know if this is it though. There definitely needs to be wiggle room that DOES NOT INCLUDE teaching any form of creationism as a legitimate alternative. Because it isn't one. So, I guess, I am the wrong guy to ask.

Being a typical Republican, you probably wouldn't care unless she was leaving you a lot of money, but why don't you answer the question instead of avoiding it? Weakling.
Try getting them to answer what the "conservatives" have actually conserved. Or who their next presidential candidate is. Or why they've obstructed this president more than any in the entire history of the United States, and planned to do so before he took office. You'll get the same answer:

Uh... liberals... mmm... uh.... Obamacare... socialism!... uh.....mmm... BENGHAZI!

So tell me whistledick, what "is" "you're" mother were in the consulate at Benghazi?
Well, after the 13 embassy and consulate attacks that occurred under Bush and the dozens killed in them, I'd say she took a risky job and paid for it with her life. Tragic, no doubt, but her life isn't worth any more than the othesr killed under Bush. Why would you dumbasses think it was?

Wait - I forgot. It's because of the black squatter in the White House. My bad.

<quoted text>Obamacare will be hailed in the future as an accomplishment on the level of the New Deal, Medicare, Medicaid and all the other programs the Republicans were against that helped the middle and lower class. Republicans have been signing up. Wait til history shows how nomy times they fought to repeal it. It will be a big joke just like fighting Medicare, social security, woman's voting rights, and the civil rights movement.

I'm not that up on it either, I know all the teachers hate it. There were no educators involved in it only politics. We don't believe in corporal punishment. Discipline to me is to teach (not punish). Teach them what's right or wrong. The bad kid fort was totally wrong. That teacher should have been fired. That was nothing more than humiliating and bullying.
I will ask her more about common core later.

I think the funny thing is that Republicans actually came up with the term Obamacare to degrade him and the program and it will go down in history as the term by which one of the greatest programs ever created will be known by. What a bunch of dunderheads.
