My thoughts are... you are trying to get people to start talking about some young girl! You should be ashamed! Kids today have enough problems. They dont need people like you making them worse.

90% of teen mothers end up being single mothers. That is the hardest job I've ever had. I wish more teens would think of that before deciding to become sexually active. It is also very hard to finish school and find good paying jobs to support yourself and your child. I do wish you the best of luck and you are in my prayers.

I hope that you have parents or other family that can support you if the father does skip out, which is ridiculously common. I couldnt imagine being a teen mom with sh*tty parents. You are never ready to be independent at that age. It is impossible without assistance, and hard if you are dependent on the government.

You may disagree, but you wont change my mind, so dont try. Abortion is a viable option for some women, and especially young girls! Adoption is ideal, but bringing a child into the world to bounce around group and foster homes is worse than being a negligent, but constant, parent.

Thank you. I don't even know what to think right now, but I'm glad that you guys are being honest about it. I don't want any sugar-coating, ya know? I got myself into this, and I'm going to do my best. And yeah, the dad says he'll help. My family is a little iffy at the moment...I guess they're trying to absorb everything. Thank you everyone for being honest!
I admire you, for asking for guidance. I was a 20 yr old mother, and I was lucky enough to have a wonderful and supportive family. My parents were iffy at first too, but after they got over the shock, they jumped in and made the pregnancy and birth a good memory. I would like to offer any help I can. I have a large family with lots of babies, so I will hold on to clothes, onsies, bassinet, stroller, etc. When you know what your having, I will have my family start getting things together and we will donate what we can. I had a bassinet, I bought used that 5 babies used. These things are so expensive, so yard sales, thrift stores, and the Ol' Mountain trader have provided a lot for us. Good luck. You sound very level headed...thats already a step in the right direction.

I hope your family is supportive, but you also need to remember this is your baby. Don't put the entire burden on your family. It is not fair to them, they have the right to their own lives after they raise their children. Don't misunderstand me, they should help you through this time but be careful not to take advantage of them. Also if your parents are helping than the parents of the babys dad should help to. It seems to always fall to the parents of the mother. That being said I hope you the very best and my prayers are with you.
