I want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Sorry i havent wrote in ages but i figure there isnt much more to talk about "yet". I still havent got my happy ever after but im still working on it. Junkie is doing good, he has moved away from hinton and is currently back in school. Hard to believe he is in school becoming something better than what he was. The reason I spoke up today is because i received bad news. I started this story and had problems with a person named Yankee. After a while we became good friends but at 89 years old he has passed. I have lost another great friend. On Christmas eve i found out his wife of 50 + yrs has passed too. Not a month after him. Even know i have never met these folks we have shared many stories & laughs. I know i have lost many of u following this, even had several unfriend me but Please pray for this family I really think they could use it. Mr Art Tate u was a good friend hope u and your wife is together in a better place ...& folks i havent finished this story cause i havent felt like its over yet...Merry Christmas to All.

First Let me say WOW what an amazing story, I ran across this thread at about 4pm yesterday and did not stop reading till I was done. As I look at the clock i realize it is now 4am. In the last 12 hours I have shared with you every emotion. I laughed, cried, pondered and have come to the conclusion that even though you say you have not found your "Happy Ending" I say sweetheart you most certainly have , You are still here to tell the tail, which is your life, and that is something that everyday you should be proud of, Is your life perfect NO.. But who's is and if they tell you it is there lying to not just you but to there selves as well. But to be honest I found myself wanting to know more. Like where do you find yourself now? and I hope that going back to school means you are going to a mechanic? Do you have your daughter full time now? And Most of us (unfortunately) know all to well the in's and out of the he said she said, especially when we have kids involved... My advice,(even thought you didn't ask for it or even need it) Be yourself and that beautiful daughter of yours will love you more than you could ever imagine, do right by you, and her, and that's all that will ever matter to her or you... Good luck and I will keep a check on this to see what you update if you do :)

Hey Junkie I'm an old friend that used to live by you and we worked at the same fast food restaurant in Hinton. You would probably remember me best by the lowered black S10 (not the one with Hot Wheels on it) and I later joined the Army. I read Topix from time to time but never post. I ran across your story two days ago and couldn't stop reading. I knew it was you as soon as you talked about the 2 seater yellow sports car. I am very honored and proud of you for sharing your story. As for me I'm still in the Army, I don't have Facebook and rarely go home. Glad to see you’re doing well, you have come a long way and I am truly proud of you and honored to call you my friend.

Well she reads this all the time so if anything i said has a lie she would be the first to say so. I didn't lie to make me look good so why would I lie to make her look bad.
I have read everything you've written so far . It has me intrigued and wondering . I hope that all of you are fine an as far as people getting on here and trashing you just ignore them they are still in the closet and if you dig deep enough I know they have skeletons in there closet at least you have the balls to bring your mistakes to the front and admit them . I hope you continue this story it's very interesting . For those that get on here and talk bs about someone else's mother it just shows your ignorance . We have a camp in Hinton an have had it along time like you said a lot of them there have changed and some never will , and for those who don't like this story stay the heck off of it no one is forcing you to read it but evedintley you can't stop either or you just want to get on here to hide behind a fake name and run your mouth ,and to say his parents didn't raise him right is just plain wrong , he just chose to do what he wanted as everyone in life does. You either learn from your mistakes or keep on making them . I pray for all of you . Can't wait to see the rest of this story . I do hope you will continue to write . But if ya don't then I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! And for the record I have never met this person but I think that he's coming along very well those of you that don't like it don't read it , either way it's a very interesting story

I think your story is very inspiring, I started reading your story a couple yrs ago. Since then I've put myself in an impatient rehab. I still struggle, even more around the holidays. I want to inspire someone the way you've inspired me.keep telling your story

Keep writing I love reading this but if ya don't you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year a ! P.S It doesn't matter what others think it's just their option anyway and God knows your struggles and he's always with you no matter where You are ! Just have faith , and God bless you . That's why we are here on this earth is to make mistakes and learn from them .
