Gary Richmond, Gary was supposedly shooting tritons equipment (contractors that's working on the road) and tritons called Raleigh county police and reported; Gary said if they brought officers down he was going to start shooting them, sources say that Gary was shot but not killed and is now in custody although, I have not heard this from any other source other then from one of his old friends that's all I have at the moment

Not defending Gary's actions, however, there are innocent people out there who love Gary and are in tremendous pain right now. Children, grandchildren, who did absolutely nothing, totally innocent, that are hurting. Praying for the family to get through the difficult time.

Gary never discharged a firearm. He threatened to, but never did. Sorry it happened. Like someone said, it is a tragedy for everyone involved. He was shot in his own living-room.

red the story it states that "Cooper ordered Richmond to drop the weapon, but Richmond refused and fired at Cooper, narrowly missing him. Cooper responded by returning fire. Richmond ran into the house and returned shooting at Cooper once again" last time I checked firing a firearm was the same as discharging one.
What a maroon

Alcohol and gun don't mix. I hope the officer is O.K. with this as it seems he had no choice. Too bad for everybody involved but what did he expect the outcome would be shooting at cop? I'm sorry for the family but you don't do that.
