To John doe...You mentioned hypocrites, you can go to church with them or go to Hell with them..

That is only thing wrong with any independent church and that is why congregations split.

Churches who have non local governing bodies would have stepped in and mediated before people start leaving

Not judging at all - a lot of Baptist churches are strong because of great leadership - but how many methodist churches lose all members before higher officials step in

I was raised at RVBC but the pastor and other leaders were going different directions - there was a new baptist church built less than 2 miles away

Waste of fine buildings and money - there should be 1 church in that 2 mile stretch

RVBC does have a pastor. I had the privilege of serving with the people for a summer as an intern. The church DOES NOT have the "biggest hypocrites" that "John Doe" has ever met. If you're so worried about being around "hypocrites" "John Doe", you may as well never leave your home cause if you go to Wal-Mart you'll find them there too.
