No sorry the Masons may be deceived into that belief. The lower Masons that is. You can even tell by the upsidedown star they use as a symbol, also known as the symbol of Baphomet. The mason are an occult Luciferian coven and if you believe otherwise you are being decieved!

has anyone ever noticed that all religions have so many details in common?for instance, names;places of importance for each religion seem to cross one another;Even most worshiping practices?
Maybe that is because we aren't yet ready to have all this full knowledge, that we cannot handle knowing so much.look at what we do with what we do know now?look at all the wars fought over these ideas and areas.wtf?

There are several covens here but the way to Truth cannot be found with them. Truth can be found if you open your eyes and if listen with your heart...putting aside prejudices, hurts and anger....and religion aside. Real Truth comes through relationship. The gods of paganism and wicca are false realities. They lead to a dark path that you can never escape from alone...but there is One who calls to you today who can show you the Truth and not through the lens of religion. I was wicca for 17 years until Love entered my life. The realization of a Love that would die for me so I could know the Truth....not having a dead religion shoved down my throat, or a false god-that-worships-creation-rat her-than-the-creator...but a living God who loves me, who loves you...and is waiting to show you the Truth. Relationship is not religion. You can't have a relationship with false god or goddess who don't exist. All creation points to one Creator who wants relationship with us. Wicca and paganism is a darkness that you will not be able to quit on your own. It will lead into a darkness that you cannot escape from.....a darkness that will last for all eternity. There is only one way out and that is through relationship with the One who died for you so that you can be free. It is not a religion or even a spiritual path...but a relationship.
Call it what you will. When you worship anything, it's a religion.

Religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems, and worldviews that establishes symbols that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values.

Visit the Bellepoint Baptist Church, Hinton WV, in person or on the web. Get the true information. You can also listen to the messages from the web site.
By the way, nobody in Summers County invited the Wiccans here and definitely would not be sad to see them go.
I think you seem to forget that there were MANY doctrines around LONG before Christianity. In any event, there are no gods, Wiccan or otherwise.:)

You will meet your maker and be on your knee. It is appointed unto all men to die. If you have not seen yourself as a sinner before then, nor confessed your sins, repented, & ask God to come into your life; woe be unto you. You have heard the way to salvation now; you will be held accountable. If you choose not, you will be cast into the lake of eternal fire.
Praying for your lost confused soul. If you need a person to help you understand God's truth, just say so. Seek before the time runneth out.
Agree with "in the last times" above comment.
Definitely praying for you, friend.
Oops! I think you may be the one that needs a little help understanding. You've ignored the teachings of Jesus at least a couple of times here. First: You judged (Matthew 7). Second: You done gone and called somebody a FOOL! Has you lost yo' mind??? Matthew 5:22- whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

I think somebody needs a little "pray for forgiveness" timeout!:)

You are a well educated man in your stand. only inviting you to spread your knowledge a little more.
If I may ask, how is it that you come by the belief that you have such a profound understanding of the Bible? Also, what "context" should the Bible be taken from?

Remember grade school, your mom/dad checking your homework, and telling you that you did a problem wrong and trying to explain it to you, but you knew with all that you had in you that it was right no matter what they said, but guess what, when you got to school your teacher counted it wrong.
So weather you belived it or not, truth is truth and you were wrong. I understand that it's hard to believe in something when it tell's you your wrong cause you don't wanna admit that you are. So just keep an open mind to everything including God!!!
So, you could say that the student had "faith" that he was right without having "proof" that he was right. Much like having "faith" that gods exist with no "proof" that he exists. Then, along comes the parents and shows the student that, indeed, his "faith" was incorrect by providing the logical, realistic "proof" that it was. Much like scientist proving that the "faith" that the world was created only 6000 years ago to be incorrect.

Thanks! I like it!:)

<quoted text>you will be okay, you are still young and have a lot to learn. It took me until I was 40 to see the light! It was a near death of a loved one who brought me to my knees. I would had sold my soul to anyone that could save my love one. My believe was not trusting anything that anyone said. Believe me there are so many that thinks they know the truth. My trust was in myself to see for myself. I wanted the truth; I said "show me" and buddy He showed me and I will never forget what He showed me. You will be okay as long as you know the last second of your life; you will have that much to say "yes I believe". It is right in front of you, within your own heart; seek and you will find.
Interesting. Your experience if quite different from mine. It's the near death of a loved one, but the ACTUAL deaths of millions of starving children in the world each year that convinces me there are no gods. Well, it's not only that, but that's a HUGE part of it.

Mary was the litle jewish vrgin that was called upon to have Jesus. I have a feeling that in her is the answer but I will know soon. Little was doc. about Joseph because of his role. I understand that king James had the bible translated because he wanted to be able to rad it for himself but in contadiction you are trying to associate with the new testiment aretwo different word with two seperiate meanings it wa tanslated correctly wisdom of worldly things and wisdom in Godly things. It says it is good to have wisdom and that sometimes wisdom will bring grief like when someone dies asan adult with the understanding of death comes grief but 4 year old without the wisdom of death it is not so painful. But in the new testiment whenhe said he would detroy wisdom he was talkin about he wisdom of knowledge of worldly things. Gate gait there their
steal steel inthe orginal writings 2 different words translated only one word available Both meaning some sort of knowledge but one of God one of the world one will remain the other he will destroy???? I m glad we can do this without with out anger its just that my God and his word is realy important to me my life does actually depend upon it
You've inadvertently stumbled upon the reason that the Jews still deny Jesus was the Messiah. The Prophecy states the Messiah must be descended on his fatherís side from King David (see Genesis 49:10 and Isaiah 11:1). According to the Christian claim that Jesus was the product of a virgin birth, he had no fatheróand thus could not have possibly fulfilled the messianic requirement of being descended on his fatherís side from King David.

To Old Lady:
You gave some awesome explanations...but I must tell you that wiccans/pagans/satanists/occul tists/etc....will always find a contradiction somewhere in their distorted way of thinking.
I was one of the them for 17 years. I know how they think and how they look for contradictions that just are not there. They can't hear the Truth because their minds have been darkened by the god of this world - satan...the one they serve, listen to and obey.
This was my life filled with intense hatred of Christians and religion....then I met Jesus and one encounter with Him and it changed everything. It is not about religion but about relationship but people in this stuff can't comprehend that.
I encourage you that in teaching your little ones, use the information you have gathered here but also teach them that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with Jesus. Religion is rules, regulations and legality but a relationship with Jesus brings freedom and liberty that those who don't know Jesus don't understand.
I applaud your efforts here.
God bless you,
A Voice
Distorted? Well, I suppose distorted could be as bad as delusional, but I would argue that delusional is a bit worse.

The "relationship" thing is a man-made excuse Christians use to divorce themselves of the atrocities attributed to their religion. Christianity is not a "relationship" with Jesus. Christianity is the BELIEF in Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Christians are said to HAVE a relationship with Christ.

Oh...and if there is only ONE TRUE GOD. How can Satan be a god? Just wondering.

The reason for this is that all religions stem from the beliefs of ancient humans. They just diverged along the way. Hence the reason the god of the Jews, Christians, and Muslims was unheard of until Abraham left the land of Ur. Prior to the start of the Hebrew religion by Abraham, no society in the known world knew of this god. The earliest known organized religion is Hinduism. It is said by some scholars to be the precursor to all other major religions.
