Judge mum on sheriff appointment
Despite continued requests for comment from Liberty County Probate Judge Nancy K. Aspinwall, the judge remains mum on her recent appointment of Polly E. Martin as the new county sheriff.

They must be friends! Not good judgement considering she is a judge! I'm sure there are better qualified persons for this job even though it's temporary. I'm very dissapointed!

was polly martin given don's job to serve out his time in office to make up the required years in service for a full pension.? I'm sorry for her loss but if this be the case right is right. and wrong is wrong

People should remember and make sure they vote all the officials out of office when election time come. The stupidity in these small towns are boundless.
