Why do some Ft. Stewart Sargeants act like their from the hood in Hinesville?

I see among the many soldiers in the military today that they are so different than soliders of my era and time while serving in the military. Because of the need today for soliders some of the many high standards that were in place to qualify for entering the military have been stripped away. So we have a differnt breed of soldiers (not all) in the military. If you allow a hoodlike perosn to enter the military will her os she change (hopefully so) but most likely will not change. So other hoodlike persons come into the military and influnces others to become like them (not all).
Many of our soliders today lack the do all you can do and be all you can be for the good of self and country but merely being in the military is about financial survival. Eventually if a hoodlike person is in the military he or she will be weeded out eventually.
Thanks to all those soldiers who enter and service with the dignity and courage and bring high morale valuesa and standards to our military. Our society is changing rapdily in a downward spiral in our interity and service. Being in the military can be a chaging expereince for the better for many, hopefully those that enter with the hoodlike mentality changed otherwise they are like yeast spreading hoodlikeness within the ranks of the military once it spread and no stopping it.

I wish the soldiers that dont disgrace the Army and the Army Uniform by letting there pants sag half way down there as* could leave Fort Stewart and let the "thugs" have it. I totaly agree with you. My ex-son-in-law is stationed at Ft.Stewart and was here last week to visit his son and daughter. Here in TN he is known as a wigger {a white guy that trys to act and dress like a black thug}. He did nothing but cause trouble while here. He pushed my daughter to her limits with his name calling and hassersment.
she meet him in a parking lot to let him pick up the kids and he got really ugly. At one point he looked at his 6 yr old son and said "your mom is a fucking bitch" and my daughter slaped him. He then grabbed her by the arms and pushed her into the side of the car and head butted her. She went to the police station to file a report and he showed up with his new wife. Yes he got married 2 weeks after the deviorce in Jan and had a new baby in July. Do the math. My daughter was the one that got arrested and he walked away. She spent the night in jail and was in court the next day with hand cuffs and shackles on her feet. I am one very mad Dad. No one at Ft. Stewart seems to care. Tell whats going on with the Army these days. I spent 12 yrs in the Navy and I know for a fact that the Navy would never put up with such conduct. Please, does any one know who to call in Ft. Stewart that cares?

This is a rapid deployment fort. Translation, this fort gets a lot of attention from Washington. Generals here can quickly advance their careers. They certainly would not want to offend anyone. Racial issues are career making or breaking in the army. We need leaders with good judgement, like a Christian man who really knows God's word. PS I've noticed a lot of the gangster grion grabbing types are actually effeminate.

WOW, Some of ya'll are harsh! The army is not what it use to be thats onething for sure. We need to write to higher up people in charge and let them know what we think about the post. Two its the damn Judge giving these hoodrats a choice!! 12 years in prison or the military for three to six years. and we all see what they have took!! Plus the do have a book that they have to go by. No smoking in uniform, no going into store off post with uniforms, no pushing the baby storrler. Theres alot. Just because your a relative of a soldier does not make you an expert on soldier issues. You only see a fraction of a soldiers life. Do you really know everyone in the military to make such harsh comments or do you have other issues. Maybe this is a forum for you to get your true feeling out. Father-in-law, maybe you didn't really know your son-in-law at all, now you have someone to blame for your daughter marrying his dumb a**. Why don’t you blame yourself for not teaching her better standards? And what is up with the comment about the President? That must be the new thing to do, blame everything on the President. im from 3id and was deployed with some of the best soldiers in the world. to say that there are gangster looking soldiers is ludicrist. everyone did what they needed to do to stay alive and keep their soldiers alive. WHO CARES what people look like as long as they do their jobs and stay professional. its the army that made PERCEPTION the way people feel about others. PERCEPTION is a joke.

Your daughter is a violent jerk. She assaulted him physically because he said something stupid. No one has the right to hit someone because they run their jaws. I am glad that little hefer was arrested. Maybe now she will keep her hands to herself.

Well just take a look around and observe your surroundings. The people that choose to serve in the military are just like everyone else. The military has the same problems that the civilian world has. I am just glad that these men and women stepped up to the plate to serve their country. They ensure that you have the right to voice your opinions. I guess all you people think it is an easy life in the military. To the Soldiers THANK YOU. I work at Ft Stewart as a civilian. I am tired of blacks always getting their way and then turn around and say they are the ones that are oppressed, that role has changed, but just because Obama is in office does not give black people the right to think they control the world now. If I was to hang a picture of W when he was in office in my office I would have been labeled as a racist but you can go all over Ft. Stewart and see pics hung in offices of Obama and they think it is great. I thank the soldier's for what they do but they also signed up for it so get over all this deployment crap it's part of your job. DEAL WITH IT.

Like someone else has stated, soldiers are regular people and like society itself there is going to be dirtbags mixed in with good people, but to say majority of the soldiers don't have their priorities straight is dead-off. I am sorry old timers but I am sure there were plenty of offenses going on when you served.. Everyone has a superior complex and loves to say they never acted a certain way but I am sorry I am more than sure you are not God, and have faults like the rest of us...
