So a bunch of terrorists killed people at our embassy. Everybody is in agreement on that. It wasn't Obama that did it. So why the fixation?
Is it because the initial news that was released while details and analysis were still happening wasn't perfectly accurate?
Since when did Republicans require accuracy from their news?
The blame being placed on the video was INITIAL NEWS?????? You are insane. That blame went on and on and on. The WH video SCAM went on until it just didn't work anymore. Your lockstepping is not very flattering to your mentality. I am beginning to think you wouldn't know truth if it slapped you upside your head.

What has Obama done?
He help stop or slow this country down from going into another Great depression. He helped track down Bin Laden. Then had the balls to order someone to pull the trigger and blow his brain out. He helped save the american auto industry. He has given millions hope that things will change and get better. Including myself. I can go on, but this all I got off the top of my head.

On September 12th I watched Obama's briefing and he called it an attack. It's there in the transcripts.
Romney himself claimed he would politicize it, and did. McCain fed fuel onto that in an effort to create a new committee position.
This is just a Republican witch-hunt.
You just HAVE to get your head out of the liberal abyss. Obama lied and lied and lied until it just didn't work anymore. NOW he is lying again and guess what? You and the rest of his minions are doing EXACTLY what he knew you would do. He knows he can lie for as long as it lasts and you Obamabots will sing his praises. It's crazy. I just shake my head and laugh at you idiots.

No straw man on my side, this was your post:
----------
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/blairsville-g...
"No that means that the purpose of the business is to make money:
- through any means possible,
- externalizing all costs onto the taxpayers, neighbors, and/or customers,
- with no concern for pollution, injury, and damages they create,
- paying the absolute minimum in wages.
That is the purpose of a business.
That means you have to regulate businesses as the amoral entities they are.
Nothing wrong with businesses - they are just amoral entities designed to maximize profit and avoid personal responsibilities for the owners. "
----------
Except that a business is not sentient and makes none of those decisions - the people who run the businesses make those decisions. Consequently, you should have qualified your statement that SOME business owners may act in the above mentioned ways. But you said "you have to regulate businesses as the amoral entities they are" which translates to "you have to regulate business owners as the amoral entities they are" - if you didn't mean it, you shouldn't have said it. Just saying.
Nope, it is you who introduced the strawman of "ALL business owners".

http://www.topix.com/forum/city/blairsville-g...
Oh, yes, of course, because in the minds of the Left ALL business owners:

I can not control how you translate what you read, but the fact remains that business is regulated because people have acted collectively to curb the inherent amorality of the nonsentient entity know as business. If a business burns coal then that business is regualted as to how it burns coal, and what it can do with the residue. People run the business, but it is the business that is regulated

Perhaps Libertarian Philosophy is the source of your mis-translation.

He hasn't slowed anything down. Hopefully we've bottomed out, but who knows? The joblessness is not moving again this time. People who have given up looking for a job aren't counted. The media makes it SOUND better than what the numbers show.

He didn't track down Bin Laden. That was already in place. The military found him and killed him. It HAPPENED on Obama's watch, he gave the order, but he didn't do it. If someone else had been president, it would have happened on his/her watch. Obama didn't do it. If you think he did, then he also "did" Benghazi. You can't pick and choose.

He gave the industry a major bailout that we are paying for. The auto industry had already been given one bailout. Obama was a follow up. I didn't support it and still don't. It's not over. We have HUGE seemingly insurmountable debt. You can rave about the bailouts, but you are paying for them. They aren't free. Obama was supposesd to cut the debt in half during his first term. LIE.

Where is the hope? Nothing has happened. Hope isn't going to put food on your table. It's not going to pay your mortgage. HOPE? Good grief. Wait until Obamacare is fully enforced. You'll feel HOPE-LESS.
Can you come up with anything else? Something that is REALLY helping.

Bush had him tracked down years ago and fell to pull the trigger on his partner in crime. Which in turn caused the death of our best and most trusted ally. If your into believing you have no control over what is already set in motion. Then you believe the debt we are facing are because of factors already in motion when Obama took office. It doesn't matter who took office they inherited a mess. This best we could hope for is our new leader not to panic and to show poise and I believe he has. Did you want our auto industry to fall? You must be partial to hondas. I'm a mopar man myself. You better pray the poor doesn't lose hope. There is nothing more dangerous than a man with no hope.

Very good points indeed. bush had no desire to find Bin Laden after he and cheney deceived us into a costly no-win war. These human reptiles got millions of blood money dollars and that was their main goal. These republicans will never give Obama the credit he deserves. Just be sure and keep this in mind come next election time!

The greatest most harmful terrorist act upon America was the election of bush/cheney. It's scary to live in a country where approx. 25% of the population still think bush was ok.

Are their lives not as important as the others who died under Bush's watch? Oh, that's right. It's Obama's watch, so they AREN'T as important. Where is YOUR outrage about those soldiers? Benghazi? You CONVENIENTLY never mention those men and women. Disgusting.
When has this monster ever taken responsibility for anything. This timid coward is so hated by most Americans he won't get out in the public and be seen. He should be hung like Saddam.

What's scary is this guy is walking around free, while they impeached Clinton for getting some head. It really shows me that the deck is stacked and for some there are no limits. That relly bothered me coming up, but now I just hope I don't turn into them.

You can't say sh*t like that. Cussing is one thing, but when you say you want a president to die. You're asking for them folks to come knocking to see about your a$$. Think it's a game and they'll label you as terrorist and you'll really have no rights. They'll hide your a$$ and no one but your family will miss you.

His partner in crime???? Unbelievable. I have one question for you. Do you HONESTLY believe that Bush partnered with Bin Laden?

What about the increase in debt? Did that happen on Bush's watch, too? How about the democrat congress that Bush had his last two years? Any problem there?
How about the democrat congress Obama had his first two years? What did they accomplish?

So, you are giving Obama a total and unquestioned pass? We have MORE debt, thanks to Obama, AND Obamacare isn't funded. What's going to happen, OMTE? Just print more money?

YOU had better hope the middle class and wealthy don't lose hope. Thank about it.

He was hooked up with Bin Laden's family. You can't tell me he didn't know about the crazy brother in the mountains planning to wax our a$$es. I don't know how ya'll do it in the big city, but down here if you brother kills one of ours and we can't find the brother. Then we go after the family. Not give them a plane ticket to get out of here. Politics in the period of time your questioning is altered by war.

<quoted text>How can that be??? When Bush has shown that his incompetence and lies killed thousands of good young Americans, using Bush fiction as the reason. Add to that he also was the main player in the killing of the economy and that result drove down home values putting the American dream on hold for millions and drove interest rates to zero. At least Carters failed attempt in Iran was to SAVE Americans and if you had money during the Carter years you got a nice return with interest rates at historic highs. And it didn't kill the housing industry because people still had money to buy homes. Bush or Carter, thatÂ’s not even a fair fight its Carter by MILES.

I don't expect a reply, nothing you can say to defend the indefensible.
Great post.

History has shown Carter was right on almost every issue.

If we'd listened to him we wouldn't be dependent on oil for energy, our troops wouldn't die to protect Muslim Arab despots, energy conservation would save us hundreds of billions in trade deficits each year, we save other hundreds of billions not funding a hugely wasteful War Department, and on and on.

But those Right Wingers sure snatched defeat for America from the jaws of victory.

No.. As usual you're completely wrong.

Profit is the purpose of business, the only purpose of business.

It is totally amoral.

When I buy stock in a company I want it to make the largest profit possible with my investment.

I expect the government to regulate businesses and keep them raping the taxpayer, the environment, and the country.

People who expect businesses to act morally or responsibly are idiots.
