I'm sorry if I sound sarcastic. But, if people had half a brain during the last Pres election we wouldn't need coal rallies and group prayer for coal jobs. Coal is going away so oil companies can power our electricity. This will happen before the next Pres election. Its call Carbon Cap & Trade. You can only emit so much carbon from any facility in one year. Power plants exceed their law by burning coal in three months, so there you have it everybody. Thanks for voting us out of our jobs. Remember vote DEMOCRATIC AGAIN next election. The tree huggers will love you for it. Hey half brains, why don't you'ns vote for a UNIE'CORN next election.

Oh John,,,,,Do you mean as opposed to the OIL TYCOON BUSH Family and Republicans and friends being in control!
It's as Broad as it is Wide!! The Republicans are not any better than the Democrats are, and they aren't any Worse either!
All ANY of them are about is how much money they can shovel into their own pockets from the tax payer piggy bank while they both keep the Dems and Repubs blind to what they're really doing by acting like they're alway fighting with each other when they really aren't. They're both parties laughin behind closed doors at people like you who actually believe either one of them any better or worse than the other one is!
You don't like coal,,,,,,,,then stay at home. Nobody's forcin you to go to it.

Your Pigeon Forge boycott farted out real quick didn't it? Your rallies will fizzle out even quicker.
Why didn't you rally before he was elected to the White House?
Those rallies are pathetic and embarrassing to Kentucky residents.
Especially those paid by coal companies to show up waiving signs who have never seen a coal mine.

Go ahead and show your ignorance some more on here u dumbass! Cause you tree huggers have been tryin ta shut down coal mining since the damn 70's WAYYYYYYY before this last Presidential Election, and if you didn't know that, it just shows how much you only FOLLOW along with the ones leading you around by the nose have you believing anything and everything they spew out of their pathetic mouths! Anyone and everyone who's worked in or around the coal mines since the 1970's knows this to be a fact. But apparently you're not intelligent enough to know fact from your leaders made up FICTION to know the truth about things, or intelligent enough to actually do some research for yourself before opening your piehole and showing how ignorant you really are. The REPUBLICANS didn't do a Damn thing to help the coal industry when THEY were in control. DID THEY??? NO!! But they sure as hell helped F&*kup Bush and all his Oil Industry Chronies make Billions while they were in there. And nothing more!
You don't support coal, Don't bring your sorry ass up there to the rally then! Like I said before, aint nobody forcing you to go. But your ignorance to the FACTS about what's really going on, is showing badly.

i know that most people are not crazy about our last president, but he set certain things into motion that would help the coal industry before he left office because he knew a democrat would follow him. also, i know alot of people aren't crazy about mitch mconnell, but he has fought hard to keep coal companies operating. maybe he gets paid well to do it, but it keeps my husband working, it keeps my dad working. i don't work for a coal company, but my family does and i will be at every rally that i can to show support. these men work hard whether it's underground or surface mining. they risk their lives everyday to earn a living and support their families and i appreciate everyone of them for it.

Well Mr. Bush didn't do ANYTHING for the Coal mining industry in the 8 years he was in there running this country into the ground. All that POS did was cause OIL prices to skyrocket for the entire US on every level, and make most of the world hate our guts. So what did he do for coal mining? Not a damn thing! What did he do for the OIL Industry? EVERYTHING! Since that's what his family is ALL ABOUT and nothing else! They're a Texas OIL Family. NOT a Texas Coal Family!

And for YACK KICKER, you're about a stupid ass on every turn it seems. Because I'm neither umemployed, nor have I ever "Drawn a check". Neither do I vote the way my "PA" did. He too, like YOU, is a jackass Republican who can't see how stupid you are to actually believe the Party of NO MORALS has any real concerns for you, me, or anyone else in this county. All every Republican in Washington is for, is for themselves and how much money they can swindle from the Great American Taxpayer Piggy Banks on WallStreet so they can fill that WallStreet Piggy Bank back up again to rob it blind again when people like YOUR stupid ass puts em right back in power and control of things again.
13 TRILLION dollars Bush Jr. and his Republican Merry Band of THIEVES and Boy Molesting Outlaws blew thru in just 8 short years. So who's the Stupid one that wants those Lying THIEVES back in office? That'd be YOU!!

do you listen to the news Mickey Spulane? do you ever read a newspaper? bush signed certain documents putting a freeze on the next administration completely stopping the coal industry. however there is a time limit on what he did. this is what all this business is about new permits. obama wanted to do away with existing permits, but that's what bush did was make it so existing permits couldn't be touched because he knew what was coming. as for the gas prices, do you have any idea how much gas costs in other countries? try $5-6 a gallon. sometimes more. bush didn't have anything to do with the gas prices go up. some of you people think the president is a king and does whatever he wants. there are checks and balances that keep one person from doing that, that's why we call it a democracy. the president can only do so much therefore can only take the blame for so much. senate and congress can put a stop to new laws introduced by the president. also, the democratic party is the ones with no morals. how stupid are you? the democrats support abortion, gay marriage. republicans are against those, that's why they're called conservatives. if you'd spend more time educating yourself instead of being on here running that pie hole you wouldn't sound so ignorant!!!

LMAO!!!Me sounding ignorant. You need to go look in the mirror at ignorant! Gas prices in other countries, such as most ALL of Europe has been at 5 and 6 dollars a gallon for OVER 15 years now. So WHO'S the ignorant one. You are! Bush's Bullshit war with Iraq (WMD'S that never existed)??? Why have we been in Iraq when Alqueda were the ones PROVEN time and time again to be responsible for the attacks on 911? Who's the ignorant one again? YOU still!
Yeah, the Democrats May be in support of abortion and gay marriage, but WHAT did the Republicans do about it for the 8 Friggin years THEY WERE IN CONTROL of everything, Oh Ignorant one? Not a DAMNED thing either! WHAT did those beloved Republicans of yours do about 30 Million Illegal Immigrants here breaking our laws and bleeding our country dry, oh Ignorant one? Again, Not a Damned Thing!
So pray tell me WHERE, do you or anyone Else get off insisting the Republicans have ANY MORALS AT ALL!! Because they didn't do ANY damned thing about these things EITHER. DID THEY oh ignorant one? NO!!!
WHO pushed to Bail out the Insurance Thieves, and the Banking Thieves before leaving Office and Control of things, oh ignorant one? I think it's pretty clear by now who, don't you? The Republicans AGAIN DID!
So how are they any better? Answer: They are NOT!!!

You really need to stop watchin Fox News and quit following your Republican Lords around like a little lost puppy waiting for them to tell you when to jump, when to roll over, when to speak and what to say!
Did they do anything to stop any of the pushes against Mtn. Top Removal, or coal mining? Or were they all too busy grabbing fistfuls of money from the WAR fund as fast as they possibly could to even give a damn about the coal industry back here in Appalachia?
I think you to be the ignorant MF! But you go ahead and keep being a good little puppy for those wonderful Republicans who do nothing but support their own interests up there on the Hill in DC.

Buddy you are way out there in space. Everyone is tired of coal companies coming in a fuc*ing them one way or another. I think I speak for 95% of the population. Take your trucks, MTR, deep mining and shove them up your a*ses. Go to the oxycontin mines in Florida and leave us alone. You have lost our support because of your as*hole mining companies.

It just wasn't the treehuggers that backed this administration. The UMW, Trumpka & Roberts were two of his biggest backers. Goes back to the old saying, "be careful what you ask for because you just might get it."
