He didn't quit ben, lot's of jealous people in this county, I don't know why anyone would want to be anything in this town. Everyone is always in everybody else's business. Think they know it all. Too many nosey ass people around here. What is it to you that he hasn't been around here so everybody can talk about him. U keep your opinion to yourself, everybody knows that Rick is a good person. No, he didn't run for a second term, but that was his biz, wasn't it. People do what they want to do, they don't need someone else to tell them what to do. Why don't the adults around here act like adults instead of children. Jealousy is a disease, keep your nose in whitesburg, should be plenty of people there that you can run your big mouth on. your friend indeed.

I thought Knott co jail was no longer in use that Knott Co was using Perry Co jail.If this is true why do they need a jailer?

I thought a person had to live in the county for at least 6 months before running for county office. Does anyone know for sure?

I"am almost positive that you are suppose to live in the county for 12 months, prior to the election if you are going to run, thats what i meant in my previous statement, why elect someone that will live in another state most of the time anyways,if you are going to be in a knott county office, then should'nt you live in knott county,I like ricky, but we should'nt just elect someone when they decide that they want to be back here for a while, why not elect one of the ones that are really knott countians full time, and will not quit,to be sure on your question, you can call the state board of elections to find out for sure.

so how can ricky run,he has not lived here a month, just because he has a house here, does that mean he could run, even if he can, he is not a knott countian to me,i mean you can only really be in one place at a time,so where has ricky actually been for the past several years?
uh huh

Ricky has two houses one here and one in Indiana.Rick has lived here all his life, born and raised here.He comes from a great family. He did travel back n forth and that shouldnt be a factor in this.Whats wrong with having more than one house anyways? So what it was in another state?Since when is that against the law?

I feel like Stuart Smith would make the most honest, and hard working jailor. I plan on voting for him.

I will be putting my vote on RAY MULLINS for jailor because I know him,and he is a good man.He works at a prison and that is more like what this job calls for.Not someone sitting in a jail doing paper work and thinking that makes them better. He is the only one not on here talking about people.
