This is to all of the sorry lazy ass people that park along the sidewalk at the mini mall. That lane is NO PARKING except for emergency vehicles like fire trucks and ambulances. The ramps are for handicapped people so they can get up on the sidewalk and into the stores. I was at the mall yesterday and some handicapped woman on a walker couldn't get in to the doctor because some inconsiderate idiot had parked right in front of the ramp. Come on people. Quit being so lazy and inconsiderate. It may do you some good to actually walk a few steps. And come on sheriff. Stats writing some tickets for illegal parking.

I have been on my soap box about this forever and no one else seems to care. Run those chairs and buggies into the sides of these cars a few time and some will think twice before doing it again.

I've noticed this too. Shame some people are so sorry that they can't walk a few steps. Police should start writing some tickets and see if that helps. It is also hard to drive through there with cars parked in the way.

I think those should all be handicapped parking spaces. However I see where you all are coming from at the same time I feel differently. I know people who have/had knee injurys, back injurys, or broke foot/leg now that limits they're walking capabilities and they don't get a handicap sticker for those. I got a parking ticket at walmart considering I had just had ACL surgery and parked in a handicap spot, I wasn't in there but like 10 minutes, came out explained everything to the safety officer and he didn't even care. I mean goodness people I had a brace on my leg and was on crutches who would want to walk all the way up a parking lot in that shape?!

Well you manage to walk to your car when you get in it don't you? I'll bet if you tried real hard you could walk from a parking space into the store. But you are right that you aren't the only one. Any time of the day when stores are open there's about 10 or 20.

This. I had foot surgery when I was in middle school. My mom had to stop at the store and I wanted to go in with her. She parked in a handicap spot because I was in a wheelchair. We got a ticket. We came out while the ticket was being written and the guy could've cared less. He said she should've let me out at the front of the store to wait on her and then parked. I was in a wheelchair, in middle school. Would you leave your injured child on a storefront to avoid a parking ticket?
Illegally parking out of pure laziness is a big pet peeve of mine however. I see people on a daily basis park in fire lanes, handicap spots and no parking zones just to avoid taking five extra steps. It's rediculous. I think there should be minor exceptions (recovering from surgery, new mothers, etc.) but perfectly healthy people? Absolutely not.

Its the mini mall we are talking about. In Hindman, Kentucky. No one cares. I dont think the ramps should be blocked but the rest of it is fair game. Our cops need to be at the Mini Mall filling out tickets for people illegally parking? They dont even do important things, such as arresting drug dealers.
