Why don't you contact the MN clergy? That would be my first step. They should have records of all
who worked in the church(s) in that area. Goodluck.

Also, there is a Deursen or Deursen's in the Askov American archives. Check out this site: http://www.smalltownpapers.com/listAKV.htm (The name I'm seeing is "Richard"... don't know if that's a relative or him... my grandmother's name was "Margaret"... but it actually was "Margarethe"... so it may be an Americanized name.)

And why I am signed "Pacific, MO" is beyond me... I have to do some tweaking here. I actually live very close to Sandstone.:-)

If you haven't already hunted down the info you're looking for...

Me again (with, hopefully, the correct "where I live" location posting.:-))

I was curious, and the Deursen in the Askov American archives, because he was a minister for a very long time, appears many, many times. And I am bored, so I thought I might take a look at the archives and find any key information. The key dates are 6/10/1976, which has his wife's obituary. The last reference I can find regarding him being listed as the local minister is 09/04/1980. And there is a historical reference to him on 03/23/2006 written by Arla Budd. So, if you think this might be your relative and you want to do more research, I just googled Arla no problem (she's a city clerk/treasurer, so she has a public PO Box address that you could write her at.)
