SHERIFF TANNER SAID: “Investigators are in a holding pattern, he said, awaiting analysis of two handwritten notes found with Gerwing’s body. As of yet, they’re not sure whether they were written by Gerwing”. http://www.wtoc.com/Global/story.asp... SHERIFF TANNER SAID: “But Tanner did confirm that authorities consider Gerwing’s death a suicide”. “We don’t suggest anything other than that,” he said. http://www.beaufortgazette.com/developing_sto... On one hand, Sheriff Tanner confirms that they consider Gerwing’s death a suicide and on the other hand they’re not sure whether the handwritten notes were written by Gerwing. Go figure?

Whats interesting about this is that it was originally reported that TWO suicide notes were found in the locked bathroom by Law Enforcement and emergency responses personnel. In other words,The men(Saxon, Strauss, and King) never saw Gerwings body or his last written words
NOW, Attorney Saxon found the bathroom door locked and a suicide note on the bed. He said he did not know exactly what the note said.We saw one note. I didnt spend a lot of time reading the note at all,
What is also interesting is that it has been reported all along that there were TWO sucide notes and Attorney Saxon is saying now We saw one note not in the bathroom but on the bed and by the way I didnt spend a lot of time reading the note at all,
Does this means that Attorney Saxons hands may have been on this note, is that what he wants everyone to believe?just for reading purposes?but not for reading very much, just a little reading? Or did he read the note without touching it? Keep in mind that Attorney Saxon is an Attorney and Attorney Strauss is an Attorney and both on the crime scene first. I think its fair to say that the Attorneys would know what to do and what not to do regarding a crime scene and how to handle evidence.
It seems that these stories are changing with the wind.

Maybe the brother of the missing woman knocked them all off so he could run the lucrative business. Ever thought about that?

I definately hope this story get made into a movie on Court TV or the Forensics channel. It is very intriguing -- a good mystery, who dunnit type! There have been no updates for some time -- it is very sad, but I find the case very interesting as well. Don't you think if this Dennis guy killed himself he would leave a note as to what happened to the couple and where their bodies could be found -- kind of to clear his concience? if he did it?
