6 escaped bison killed after 10-hour attempt to corral them

Comments on Topix forums : Hilton Head Island, S.C. The owners of six young bison who escaped from their pen in Hilton Head Island decided to shoot and kill the animals after they could not be corralled.

Personally I think marriages should come with a similar clause. You got x hours to bring your arse back home before I come hunting.

for your information we did try all dayto tranquilize them the tranquilizere gun is only good for 30 to 40 yards from 8 in the morning until 5 30 riding a horse through briars brushes and whatever else they threw at us if you think it is easy you can go and try it. it is far from easyu they are faster than deer and more allusive than an alligator believe m,e we tried this was are very last resort i wish people would quit making comments like yourself we did not want to kill them that is alot of money worth of buffalo and it is a huge liability letting wild animals run on the street
