I 100% agree with you carpetlicker. I really like that the Hampton Union wrote the story just as it was seen on tv and they even took the time to confirm with Kelly. Great job! Cannot say the same for the daily news who outright attacked this poor young kid.

Unfortunately, the Hampton Union did not get all of the facts precisely correct in this case. Although I believe that Amy Perkins is a good Rep, several of the facts she reported were incorrect, also. I never suggested to the committee half the things she accused me of, and those differences could have been resolved before the Selectmen meeting. Moreover, the three of us had lunch together in the cafeteria in Concord right before the work session, and I specifically told her that day that I was about to be called forward to read off of that list.

It was the committee chair who called me to speak right after the lunch break only because I had read the entire bill and done a lot of research on policies in other states. After correcting a statement in the letter (the BoS endorsed expanded gaming in general, not just SB489) I proposed several small corrections, many of which the committee has implemented.

SO, the Hampton Union, Daily News, Board of Selectman, Channel 22 and Seabrooks Representitives all lied about you. And your facebook page states that backstabbers should be shot. You should make a fine constable, you lying peice of shit. I hope you stick to that story when Koko confronts you on it.

On Thursday, Selectman Brendan Kelly, who was absent from Wednesday night's meeting due to his work schedule, said he had an unforeseen conflict on the day of the hearing in Concord and knowing Abramson would be attending the hearings, asked Abramson to deliver the letter from the board in his stead. "I asked him to hand it in for us," said Kelly.

MAX I GUESS YOU DID WHAT THE CHAIR KELLY ASKED YOU TO DO IN HIS OWN WORDS. NOW WHO WANT TO HOLD THE CHAIR KELLY RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING ACTION WITHOUT BOARD APPROVAL OR NEGLETING TO HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING TO VOTE TO DO ANY OF THIS?

Upon being told of the events of Wednesday's selectmen's meeting, Kelly said, "He (Abramson) obviously shouldn't have said he was representing the board."

SURE SHOVEL IT ON DOWN THE THE LITTLE GUY. OBVIOUSLY CHAIR KELLY SHOULD HAVE REFRAINED FROM TAKING BOARD BUSINESS UP ON HIS OWN TIME WITH THE TOWN MANAGER? NOW THATS THE PROBLEM. NOT THE REPS, NOT MAX, NOT THE RESIDENTS WHO ATTENDED. PUT THE BLAME WHERE IT BELONGS AND MOVE ON.

I did what Abul told me to do, "Okay okay yes." Most likely, Abul didn't understand my question exactly when I asked him (at Richdale's) what I should say to the committee.

Basically, all three of our Selectmen screwed this one up because no one brought this whole matter to their attention before the March 30th hearing in Concord. Since I'm a bill reviewer for NHLA, I should have brought the matter to the BoS at a previous meeting, but why didn't the Town Manager do this? We could have had a letter drafted a month in advance--read, reviewed, and able to accommodate almost any ammendment that the House came up with.

The Selectmen screwed up because they have become almost totally dependent on the Town Manager.

At least we knew ahead of time that Lynch was intending to veto it. That gave us the heads up we needed to get the 266 Reps and 16 Senators needed to override his veto.

Regarding what happened in the State House, I told Amy during lunch in Concord that I was going to be called up (without other notice) to read off recommended changes before the committee. IIRC, she even read the list and seemed quite happy that I was helping somehow. I was also quite happy that the Perkins Pair and Al Weare were in there really working their butts off for the best interests of the town.

It appears that the recent loose handling of critical town business was a blatant display of dicard and disrespect for Seaabrook Citizens and
its polital endeavors.
