And for pete's sake, don't FEED them...if you DON'T want them in the neighborhood...Winter is coming..and they are social to certain degree...they watch you when you walk your dogs, probably figure they and just "blend in".
On the otherhand they are wild...DON'T forget that..respect for the habitat. But if
gets slim pickins out there you betcha your fluffy or poochi are an easy target.
There is still wild in marin...

Assume you're talking .308 or .30-06. Don't think you'd have a problem killing the coyote with either bullet weight. Just have to adjust POA depending on distance and how your scope's zeroed. Of course you know I vote for letting the coyote live. People can coyote-proof their properties and use a little common sense.

Oh no, where will I go mountain bike riding? I even heard they've been sighted at Starbucks, stalking chai tea drinkers on Tweeter! What is Moron County coming to?

What is the point of calling the Humane Society when you see a coyote? Do you call the Humane Society when you see a raccoon or a fox? They're part of a healthy, natural ecosystem.

It's especially foolish to call if you see a coyote in a state park like China Camp.

Trapper: I'd be interested in a large bunny trap. I know a rodent bunny that needs getting got.

I've seen this coyote three times in the last month. One time he was on the shoulder of the 101 freeway watching the cars go by. I'd expect it'd get run over sooner rather than later.

I am native born, second generation. The yuppification that started in the 80's makes me sick. And you're right, I should choose my words more carefully--What HAS Moron County become?

What was the name of that Mexican restaurant in a shopping center in Mill Valley? Back in the 80's, that place was a "beaver trap."

The coyote is not "Brazen", it is trying to survive..The IJ could have used a different adjective and maybe the ignorant killing posters would go back under the rug.
Hunting for food and water, the animals have to go where the food is. Lock up and cover trash. leave no dog or cat food - definitely no small dog or cat - outside unattended.
This is a true Native. Be a little understanding and get rid of the Sarah Palin mentality.

Indeed it was! But as true sportsmen, we would only catch and release.

I now remember. I believe it was the Cantina. And yes, the preferred hunting method, back then, was the ever so popular "catch and release the next morning" method.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Aquarius

You're full of energy and determination right now, especially when it comes to nailing an ambition or making a name for yourself. You'll want to give it your best shot, and you'll get very annoyed if you feel your efforts are being frustrated by others. Watch out for a rather tense atmosphere with someone older or more influential than you, as this could lead to a row.
