Some people are just plan azz holes. You have a man on here trying to help a family; and some azz gets on here trying to be smart and makes a comment like that. Anyone can have a typo when posting something. I guess what is the perfect person!

Yes I do go to the mailbox to recieve my bills that I do pay... And yes I do have a job...Just because someone post something on this site everyone thinks they are on welfare. Well so be it...I was just pointing out that you might want to retype your info, since you are doing such a wonderful thing for a family. People might take you a little more serious.

Any time there is a disagreement on this (admittedly petty) site, the first disparaging remark is always "Don't you have a welfare check to cash?" At least it serves as a stark notice as to who the real ignorami are.

Additionally, there is no excuse for typos when potential posts are automatically checked for both spelling and grammar.

I've one final mote of advice: a forum renowned for infantile behavior and poorly executed pranks and impersonations (such as private investigators) is not the best place to gather highly sensitive information.

Why bash a man that is trying to help someone? This person didn't get on here to hurt anyone. They made a simple typing mistake, it happens to the BEST of us at one time or another. I've been an Attorney for 26 years, and I make them from time to time! It seems to me that this person is trying to help someone and local law enforcement. I read these postings on here to keep up with things that go on back home. It's a shame that some people in Webster use this to cut down and start nasty lying rumors on people. Plus Mr./Mrs. Intelligentsia Alert; if you read the investigators posting, you'll see that they gave an e-mail address so no ones name or information would be made public. Frankly, I couldn't think of a better way to get the word out to so many that he is seeking information!! What if it was your family member that had passed away, and you wanted some answers to alot of unanswered questions? Best of luck on your quest Mr./Mrs. Investigator.

My point, dear sirs, is that anyone can set up an email account, anonymously claim to be a professional with ties to specific families, and solicit information from still more anonymous sources. The very concept smacks of very poor professionalism at least, and possibly fraud. The whole "you must be on welfare" crack only serves to reinforce the notion that this man is simply another small minded local who knows very little about very little, and this casts further doubt over whether this man is who he claims to be. Accepting everything at face value is a quick way to get burned. I implore anyone who may know something about Mr. Hoover to go straight to the family, or, at the very least, insist on obtaining proof from Mr. RICO09 that he is who he indeed claims to be before divulging any sensitive information. Remember the old Japanese proverb?

I think I know this person. If I am right, he was in law enforcement for about 20 years. Now he is a private investigator. He went to school right here in Webster County. I recognize his e-mail address. I feel for this family. It would be bad enough to lose a family member but worse not knowing how it happened.

Please give this man a break, don't make his job any harder.

You are right. And he is legit, I know him myself. And know the family. They have gone through and still are going through hell over this... why nothing has been done is beyond me.
