Barack did NOT win "big time" as one poster says; he was elected to office with false promises and voted in by people who wanted something for nothing...or slackers, which this county has plenty of. BHO is not for American, he's for himself and power. He is a threat to America's freedoms and you'd better wake up to that fact before its too late.

Only a complete dumb ass would write this. Obama won in the Electoral College by 2 votes to 1 (actually 2.1 to 1 365 to 173). That's way more than Bush in 2000 with 271 to Gore's 266 when Bush stole the election, precipitating a constitutional crisis and undermining the Constitution. or the 2004 election where Bush won by 286 to 252 --with serious questions about voting irregularities in Ohio and Florida (which should have been challenged).

So yes -- OBAMA WON BIG TIME--only a complete dumb ass would assert otherwise. He was voted in by a plurality of Americans that wanted CHANGE; CHANGE FROM THE FEAR MONGERING AND DEVASTATION WRECKED UPON THE AMERICAN ECONOMY AND AMERICA'S REPUTATION IN THE WORLD. Bush did damage it will take 20 or more years to undo.

Devastation on our economy by Bush? Are you joking? Look at the state of the economy with BHO in control. Worse than ever. He has no idea what he's doing. You can't spend a country out of recession or depression. He's spending this country into oblivion. Both Bush and McCain warned about the collapse of the loan industry, but it was the DEMOCRATS under Clinton that made banks relax lending policies so people who didn't really have the money to afford a home could buy one. People posting here really need to look at the facts. And, by the way, I can see what's in his heart when he removed Bush's ban on giving $ to foreign countries to pay for abortions! BHO will go down in history as one of the worst presidents. So, you got your change. But, change is not always good. You must be one of the slackers that has its hand out to the government because you can't provide for yourself. Go TEA-PARTIERS!!!!!!!!!!

Show's what dumb ass you are--and that is a staement of FACT, not "name calling"--I have a degree and own my own business (with several employees) and work average of 68-80 hours a week, so if that's your definition of "slacker," well, it's a dumb ass definition.

And yes, it was BUSH that drove the economy into the ground--get your head out of your ass and stop listening to that fat pill-head Rush Limbaugh. Learn to think for yourself, not repeat fat-head's talking points. Learn a bit about the man behind the Tea Parties--Dick Armey, a man all for government handing him money and all for corporate welfare. Obama has the potential to be one of our greatest presidents EVER. Bush, as has been proven, is one of the WORST ever, and Cheney should be jailed for war crimes.

How do we know anything is true? Everything that is given to us, whether it be information on George Bush or information or Obama is all given to us by the media.

You may have a bit of a point. A few years ago when I was first going into business, there were 141 major media companies. Today, there are six--only six and most everything you read, hear or see (outside the internet) is filtered by or comes directly from one of those companies. Rupert Murdoch, who owns Newscorp (Wall Street Journal, Fax News, New York Post--to list only a few of his US holdings), also owns major media in Australia (his home nation) England, China, and the Soviet Union--to name a few countries. His right-wing politics are well known and he does his best to use his media outlets to influence the political landscape to his liking. General Electric, which owns NBC, MSNBC et. al. is also a major manufacturer of engines for our military aircraft. Do you think the company may have an interest in promoting war--and thus its bottom line? That partially explains the media rolling over for Bush in the run-up to the Iraqi war--a war based on a pack of lies--but one the media largely rallied behind. The idea of a "liberal media" is a freaking myth--look at who owns the media.

So, like I said, you may have a bit of a point. Yet facts remains, and research can be down and the truth can be found--if one is diligent to search out the facts and not simply takes as fact the blathering of that corporate whore Rush Limbaugh--a man who acts like he is for the common man yet has a taste and habit of smoking Cuban cigars (illegal in the US) and drinking $2000.00 a bottle wine. He can afford his vices because he is corporate whore doing the bidding of the multi-national corporations by fooling the "bubbas" of the US into thinking he is speaking for them. What a joke.
