Greenbelt Highway wreck victim identified

The man killed in a crossover accident Thursday on the Greenbelt Highway near Dover Road has been identified as Richard A. Kirman Jr.

Hi. I'm 15 years old and Rich raised me as his own until my mom and him got a divorce 4 years ago. He was a great dad and I jus got this news today. I'm so heartbroken. I love him with all of my heart and I think about him a lot. He was my father figure and a great man. I miss him and I wish someone would of contacted me so I could of went to his funeral. I love him soooo much and it's hard on me to know that he is now gone. I wish I could of done something. I love you daddy, and I always will. I sure do miss him. I have been crying none stop all day trying to get the information. My little sister, his birth child lived with him and I know it's hard on her. I love you Richard Kirman.

Savannah, I was sorry to read your story on the internet. My brother and nephew were in the accident with Rich and we are very sorry things turned out the way they did. From everything we have heard he was a wonderful man, who I am sure you do miss. Just remember the good times and know you are in our prayers......Take Care, Kim King
