OhioHealth joins with MinuteClinic | The Columbus Dispatch

OhioHealth has gone into the retail health-clinic business with CVS stores' MinuteClinic.

I find it strange that a grocery store would include a health clinic. Do we really want ill people entering where we buy food, possibly contaminating our food or handling grocery carts/check out lanes/etc? Think about it. It's a strange concept.

CVS is a grocery store?

At any rate, walk into any Kroger and you'll find a pharmacy where ill people actually walk in and contaminate things. They might even actually breathe the same air that we do.

Ohio Health is on the move in central Ohio. I hope this is a very positive move, and not a move just to increase income. It could come to be that the retail stores are looking at health care as they did fuel stations. This in its self could create competition, which could reduce costs to the consumer.

I have gone to the MinuteClinic at CVS in Worthington for several years for treatment. It has always been affective, fast and affordable. One of the reasons I used this service was because OhioHealth controls so many hospitals, and so many doctors, that their costs for treatment became ridiculous, and they bill you forever! You can bet that treatment at the MinuteClinics will now become unaffordable, just like the rest of OhioHealth's monopolies! You can walk in to a MinuteClinic 7 days a week for excellent treatment, try that with any OhioHealth primary-care provider!
