ISD 191's dilemma regarding who to select for the superintendent should be made more public. The divisive school board, currently occupied by a majority group who know no bounds when it comes to irrational spending, vs. what the district desperately needs - a leader who can concentrate on maintaining and improving educational opportunities without creating more new programs (i.e.: free, all-day-kindergarten, magnet school) on the backs of weary taxpayers.
