Seen one on Christmas day 2002 down around the end of Belmont Road (which was very cool because it was the first one I ever saw),seen one over a buddy's house down by the crude oil tanks in LJ in 2003,and I even happened to spot one sitting on the road over at the city park seven or eight years ago. However, the possibility is strong that you and me both have spotted more than that since they don't get the white head until seven to nine years old,(which would make young ones appear to be buzzards or crows).

There is a family of them on my farm here. Absolutely beautiful !!! I hadn't seen them except for the winters we spend in Florida but when we moved down here in southern KY on this farm they came with it :) extra bonus!
I think I will make that my profile picture for anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty!

A good friend of mine owns a900 acre farm off WK pkwy, she has plenty there, also many migratory birds that stop en route. The cranes are the most abundant. I used to go bird watch , haven't been in a long time tho, the big flood a few years back actually drew in many different species, wish I had a decent camera.

I saw one in 1999 along the Jean Snyder near the Taylorville Lake exit. It was eating a rabbit I slowed and it looked up at me, then went back to eating. The thing was about three feet tall when it looked up.

I reported the sighting to fish and wildlife, they said it was an Osprey but I know what I saw........

Hey buddy, you're leaving us hanging on the round table.Me and tri need your opinion on an issue so we can ascertain whether the two of us are in fact perverts or just a little over-passionate.

I don't recall saying that Francis. I do like women that look feminine and dress fashionably. I do remember saying I like women that can pick attractive shoes, especially high heels. Those girls that look like Russian weight lifters not so much....

Nothing wrong with those "Russian weightlifter" type girls,I suppose.Well,so long as they have a decent personality, soft voice, feminine demeanor,,,and no mustache.
