SCC believes the teachings of the Bible. It had decided not to renew their Boy Scout charter long before the organization decided to allow gay scouts.

Somehow, I have a hard time accepting that kicking out the Boy Scouts program, for no other reason than you knew the point was coming where they would no longer allow you to discriminate against the "gay" ones by banishing them from your community of them, is exactly sound biblical teaching. I'm not a Christian, but I've read the Bible, this just doesn't strike me as the right answer to WWJD? in this situation.

Jesus spoke against the act of homosexuality, get over it. Gays should be welcomed but the act should never be condoned, promoted or led to believe its wholesome. You proud homosexuals are always twisting Scripture, never reading in its entirety, and blatantly ignoring unpopular verses. "Noone is as blind as the man that refuses to see "

Bearing false witness, that's a commandment breaker. Jesus never once mentions the "act of homosexuality", let alone speaking against it. Have you ever actually read a Bible?

That's just so Christian of you, sad that it isn't particularly Christlike.

Sweetie, you just flat out lied about what's in the Bible, you're a fine one to talk. I've read the Bible dear, it's nowhere near against "homosexuality" as you pray it is.

So you pray, but that would be between you and Him. God don't hate f*** he just hates the things we imagine f*** do. Good luck on that prayer of yours by the way. But if you ask me, that's a pretty darn vague answer to the question of how Jesus himself would handle this. I still say this isn't it and I'm not even a Christian, but having read the Bible, it seems that what these alleged Christians are blaming on Him would tick the man I read about off. Didn't they read the SECOND part of the command to love thy neighbor? How about do unto others?

Read it? Hell, used to recite it long ago. Was a Cub Scout for awhile. I've got a 4 decade old pinewood derby racer on my bookshelf to prove it. If I had any clue at that age that there was such a thing as someone who is homosexual, I would have been a gay cub scout instead of growing up wondering why I felt so different from what folk seem to be expecting. If you imagine a gay kid being incapable of being "morally straight" for no other reason than their realizing that they were dealt the hand of being homosexual in this life, I feel so sorry for you.

I feel sorry for you, as well. Yes, Jesus said "love your neighbor" but I don't think He said anything about loving their sins. He told the adulteress to "go and sin no more."

I could break it down for you but you're so haughty and shameless about you're sin that it really wouldn't do any good and it would be a waste

Sweetie, he said love your neighbor as you love yourself, this sounds like you really don't much like yourself.

He told the crowd around her, let he who is without sin cast the first stone and there you are with a rock in your hand. Now go and sin no more.

English translation: "Having been caught giving God the finger over his commandment to not bear false witness and being schooled on the contents of the Bible by a non-Christian, I'm going to act above all this and pretend that my questionable morals prevail."

The only waste was your pathetic reply.

no. Translation : you simply don't care about truth or context because you want to indulge in you're immorality. There is no difference in gay sex and the straight adulterer, a sin is a sin...period. foul language is as evil as murder. One evil act begats another and so on. Go on somewhere rick, you're arrogance is sickening
