Mayor Joette Calhoun needs a new City Attorney.
Only one requirement, must be able to lie and cover for her.

Remember someday judgement day will come before the Almighty!

The city looks like a pig pen mayor, where's the sleepy sweeper?

Get a jump on the dirt this year. Start working on getting the sweeper running before derby time and by all means include all the city streets not just main street and around your house.

Has anyone seen the sweeper working?
Mayor it does the city no good for our over priced investment to sit in moth balls. Get old 35+ year council member berry armstrong some lessons and let him earn his salary.

Who's on top today?

Someone needs to address the issue with the cost of having your water turned back on!! I accidentally forgot to drop off my check. I always pay my bill. So what I got when I came home was no water. I had to call the number and leave a message for someone to call me back that took well over an hour to find out because I forgot to drop off my payment, I had to pay an additional $90.00 on top of my normal bill for the added in fees of after hours and a reconnect fee. What reconnect?????? Taking off a lock isn't what I would consider a reconnect!!!!! Then, not only did it cost me that much extra, they would only accept a money order. I had to go purchase a money order for twice the amount of my bill and then I actually had to drive over to city hall to have someone watch me put the money order In the night drop!!!!!! You have for to be kidding me!! Who is running this?!?!?! Yet we are supposed to just sit and wait with no updates when the water is out from something they are working on. I'm appalled and everyone else should be too. This is nothing but legalized extortion!!!!!!

Mayor, Berry and Greg must pay for their spend and waste policies some way. One fast solution to avoid paying the extortion, should have taken the mayor out for a drink.

But be sure you drive. OR unless you know the state trooper! Hiccup! Hiccup!

Greg Gentry how's the city park expansion project going? Mayor Calhoun made a big deal out of this project during your first month in office, "Greg Gentry has accepted my request to study how the city can improve and expand parks".

I believe this was just a ploy on her part to cover up her lack of effort, leaving you to hold the bag.

So what have you accomplished?

You just need to learn to kiss up to her, she likessss the attention.

Example, B R's attention during the Council meeting. That's why he's second in command. Actually, some times it's hard to figure out who's on top.

They just giggle and giggle....over little...hummmm!

It's still amazing to me how mean and ignorant the people are on here. You obviously have a sad, boring life if you do nothing but bash your local leaders and talk for a year about a sweeper. I for one think our city looks amazing!!! You that sit behind your computer and hide are very Deficiant in many life skills. Instead you could be doing things to better your community, your own life and pay things forward to others. Light bulb moment I hope. Be a positive, good hearted person.
