Sikhs have long clean hair (About 1 meter on head.

Turban keeps them clean, tidy and tied up properly.

siks are idiots, since they base their life on a phony religion, made up centuries ago, by losers who are no more smart than anyone today, and if they had internet back then we could read all about the porn addict or gambling addicts they were, or that jesus didn't pay a code violation fine, etc. instead we mystify these people and their fantastical stories, just because it was a "long time ago". sad.

I guess I should have explained this point better.
Hope my next statements clears my point.
Sikhs have encountered most holocausts from terrorists than any other religion.
&
Sikhs were the one who not only repelled the
invaders and infiltrators to India but conquered Afghanistan and Talbianis
( Now dont compare Sikhs with America , Coz even America could not do it fully till now the way Sikhs did it and tht too in a lawless AFGHAN world of 18th centuary)
If you just would have left the title "Jew" out of the equation there would have been no issue.

Letís face it. For the most part people are stupid no matter how much education or where we studied we are all (inclusive) stupid. We assume that "we" are always right and everyone else is always wrong. We do not see in Gray. We tend to see in Black and White. We are not tolerant of others beliefs and to this day have still not learned to live and let live.

Every religion, race, creed and color has in one point of time been ostracized. Some have even been subjected to the term ethnic cleansing.

To blame an entire race or religion for the actions of a few is wrong and should not be tolerated by anyone, yet it is.

Only when we truly learn to follow what our parents told us when we were young will we be a global society. Oh, what did our parents tell or teach us? To play nice and share with others!!!!!

Toleration and compassion are at a great shortage in this world!

Now it is true that the typical American does not know the difference between an Arab, Sikh, Palestinian, Jew, Muslim, Taliban, Islam, Pakistani, Indian, Afghani, and Iraqi.... The problem is what we (Americans) do not understand we assume is wrong. Then we wonder why the rest of the world looks down upon us???

religion sucks, it NEEDS to be outlawed in public. can you imagine, we are ACCOMODATING these nuts? that would be like special rules for star trek geeks, deadheads, or rotary club members. oddballs, that's what religious people are, at least the ones who think that have a right to display their superstitions in public.
Hummm, the guy wearing the turban is a nut and the guy setting it on fire is accepted. Guess we know what world you reside in. Could your white hood be classified as 'turban like' headgear ?

a turban does not look muslim fool. people used to steal hats and burn them at ballparks with fans of opposing teams. is there any difference? minor league mischief. and that's all a stupid turban is, a hat with a team name on it.

More than 90% Turban Wearing people are Sikhs.

Infact, I have never seen any muslim wearing a turban except in video tapes.

That might be their scheme of avenging from Sikhs who did great harm to their forces and conversion policies in India.

Have u seen any muslim wearing turban ever?

They have a skullcap like jews not turbans!!

I am a senior at Hightstown High School, where this regretful incident has occured. Members of the South Asian Club members at the highschool were quick to respond to other students that this was definitely NOT a hate crime, but just a result of a thoughtless, irresponsible action by a fellow student. Students appropriately expressed their outrage and disappointment, at what one of our teachers called a "jerk crime" and not a "hate crime".

Seriously... "bored to death" you have got to be kidding me. I am not sure if your son/brother was to have his cross burnt while he was wearing it... and if you still found it to be "just having fun". Seriously... think about it before you get your fingers on the keyboard.

If you can't respect anyone else's faith then you can't have enough respect for your own faith as no faith tells you to go kill people of other faith unless you are...

and as we all know, it's okay to set someone's head on fire ... unless they are religious. what a joke!

a "jerk crime"? that "man" should be fired for saying that. either it's a crime or it isn't, what's with the "hate" business?

Wrong my friend. Rastafari is the newest religion on Earth (born in the 1930's).

And what changes have been made in the Bible ? You referring to differences made in translation ? I guarantee you're not reading the Sikh book in it's original language. Bet there ar emany changes as the book was translated.
