Hightstown passes controversial taxi ordinance
HIGHTSTOWN - Debate over an ordinance that raised ethnic and racial tensions in the borough ended Monday night with the borough council passing a measure regulating licensed taxi cabs.

Here in highstown if you want to operate a taxi it should be township law,all operators must possess a legal NEW JERSEY DRIVERS LICENSE. This is for the safety of the passengers. This township law will also stop the illegal aliens driving taxicabs here in HIGHSTOWN with out of state licenses. It is law illegal aliens are not allow to operate motor vehicles in the state of NEW JERSEY..
