Just because someone questioned spending, doesn't mean they were against it. It could only mean they are more politically savvy. Appearances aren't always what they may first seem.

Now, I'm a little disappointed when one seems to support the statement that he questioned spending, alluding that he took a stand against such things. Yet, when asked, nothing is provided by anyone to support the perception.

I would like someone to show me otherwise, as I don't remember him voting against much of those spending issues, at all.

No I'm saying if their voting records are similar then look at their achievements. Achievements aren't talk. Next you could look at their yrs if experience serving. I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, it is rare that I do that, as I don't see it as a very productive way of communicating.

When these people have all the dreams about how to improve DP it cost us money. All we want is too keep what we have in DP, but closed the golf course or lease it out to a private Co that will pay us money to run the golf course.

I would suggest looking both of them in their eyes, ask your questions of each and make a decision. One will be going by 3 names. That same one should have strings attached to them. So don't get to close, you might get tangled up.

There is no lesser of two evils, in this case. Jeff Pound is the clear choice on who is the best person to represent us as Mayor. Go talk to him and make an informed decision, as I have. He is available to anyone who has questions, I'm quite sure.

You are correct they did have a town meeting, I think it may have been held at the Best Western. We all know that only a minority of us vote. Not many showed up. But the people that vote would probably show up. It is just really hard to make a decision when you don't have any information on the candidates. If we are lucky the local paper will put a small paragraph about each of them in the paper. That just isn't enough to base a decision on.
