Hot air balloons need regulations

Hot air balloons are a beautiful sight, but can pose a threat to our community. This morning a balloon was landed in the park across from my house.

So whats the threat of a balloon? they have been doing this long enough, that they did land in your park and not on your roof. All the people I have met are really nice and some I bet would be willing to take you for a ride! Oh by the way they DO get moved by the wind, try and tame that while your up in the air. I think we have enough regulations.They have to go through enough regulations to own a Balloon.I glad they go by and over our lives!

You have no idea about aviation. People like you who have no facts and do not research a subject before running off at the mouth should have no voice. There are plenty of regulations imposed on balloon pilots and if that particular pilot was breaking them then that is a problem. There are altitude restrictions while flying over populated areas. But, for the purposes of landing the altitude restriction is not in place because you actually have to touch the ground to land. Get educated or keep your opinions to yourself.
