I was only 15 when I first stepped foot into the studios at CBS 6. Back in the late 1980's, I was lucky enough to be chosen to be one of WTVR's For Kids' Sake Ambassadors.

Seeing the news tonight about the cost to the city about leaf collection, brings to mind a question that really puzzles me. Why doesn't the city require licence plates on all the bicycles and scooters that use the streets here? Think of the money the city could collect for that. Why can't that help pay for the leaf collection and street maintenance? Other cities require it and it just makes sense to me since they use the streets too.
Would love to see this on your "Hot Button" and see how others feel about it. I just bet Mark H.
could get some answers from City Hall on this one.

Joyce and I can remember taking our daughter, Martha, to meet you as a JMU student at an event for potential new students. Even then you said you wanted to be in TV broadcasting. Looks like you have made your dreams come true with a lot of hard work.
