Eastons Purpose

Does anybody know what they are raising money for? I have donated to them before for I think a bath chair just wondering that they are raising funds for now didn't know if there was a surgery or something big going on.

Easton is my little cousin and Eastons purpose rasies money for easton and other children that have CP. You can add Eastons purpose on facebook and if you have any questions this is not the best place to ask them you can attend any of the meetings or ask them on facebook!

I question this completely!! I have a lot of douts about this purpose I should say. R they being honest with us all? What r they raising the funds for this time? Personal use isn't cool with me at all if u r not saying what it's for. I mean it's our money they get, so why should we do without so they don't?? A surgery?? A new piece of equipment?? Heck yes I'll donate. But there r a lit if families out there with children of many disabilities and they r not asking for a hand out, what makes them special? Do they give to the national cerebral palsy foundation?? If so then why nit let ys c thus by having our newspaper Smack us n rhe dace with it?? Thats what i thought!! It's things of this nature that really make us all step back and look at the "whole picture"".

ok let me get this right. you were at the bike run came supported our cause, didnt have the nerve to ask anyone anything or even pick up one of the very informative cards explaining what we do. instead you come on the biggest drama site there is and talk trash??? if there is ANYONE that wants to know anything about easton do the right thing and ask! go to facebook go to one of the events we do and ask! dont start talking trash about ANY CAUSES YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT!! if you really want to know the truth about any groups in this area. It seems to b a circle of no answers unfortunately.. B happy I helped to begin with and don't bash me because I asked a question on here. It's a public site that many, many individuals read so I felt it would get answered here. And answered it was.. Simply by not answering and telling us what the plans r for the money. We have the rights to know this. Plus I asked when the next meeting was too, and still nothing.... What u don't want me to come and ask my questions??? U know most people want to help the best we can but when we r being mislead it just upsets us and the trust is lost. Trust isn't easy to get back either..

[Eastons Purpose]

Our meetings are on Monday evenings, anyone and everyone is invited. We tend to change locations right now due to the needs of Easton and his family so we post it on Facebook every week. Please join us and become more informed of what we are doing.
Our mission statement Living with C.P. Shouldn't Mean Living Without! Which means that our goal is to help children with Cerebral Palsy (and other dissabilities) live day to day lives without missing any of life's opportunities. Wewant to help a C.P. child gain anything they may need to do so. This may be something as simple as a pair of socks that are specifically designed for AFO braces, to adaptive toys, a chair that holds their Hightoned/lowtoned body in a position that helps leads to stronger trunk control, to a wheelchair ramp for the child's home.

As a mother of a special needs child, I totally understand the challenge it can be to pay for the adaptive toys, the special van needed to transport, the cost of going back and forth to the Children's hospital. The toy at Toys-R-Us cost 15 dollars...for my son that same toy is adapted for him to be able to play can cost 100-200 dollars. This foundation does more than help with the cost of these needed funds....they also supply information and awareness of there cause...CP children. If you truly are question there purpose they have a friendly, civil, educational place on Facebook to address this. I personally have benefited from the support and information that this wonderful group of loving, kind, educated group offers...

You guys make me sick!!! Do you not think for one second that his mom wishes that he didn't have to go through the things he does every day and you get on here bashing them!!! Easton is the most sweetest little 3 yr old boy you will ever met and never not for one second has he been used by his family! How bout you get off you computers and go to a meeting and learn about him and his purpose! Before you go talking crap!

Still no number on what was raised at thus event or any of Ur others........ Questions ,questions ,questions!!! Seems as if u r hiding something here..... This stuff won't go away until u realize we r what helps u continue to fundraise. With my thoughts I've had since last weekend I'm wondering if I'll b helping u any more?? I don't have a lot to give but I want to give what I do have to a noteworthy charity that helps others not themselves. But here's the thing I'm just a nobody but these businesses u got raffle items from think of them.... I'm sure they wanna know just how well u did!! U keep pushing Ur Facebook page but there's nothing on there about what U do, just pics mostly. Interesting, wonder how many others feel as I do. Plus there is a couple people that were helping at the event that r not the best known trusting people n town.

Ok and you were commenting saying why would they misuse the foundation when their child's name is on it well what makes these ppl any different or how you were telling ppl on that topix page if they had questions they needed to go to a meeting and the difference here?

We realize Easton is the boy with cp! And if you are a friend calling the people who are apparently supporting this child idiots, then you must be the one who is an idiot. If we can't ask simple questions that require simple answers then the money is not deserved and is most likely being misused! And if it's true as you say, the money is raised for him and his family, then I do not see this as a worthy cause. His family can go to work and support him like we have to our families. If they are doing nothing to help improve the quality of life for other children, helping fund research, finding a cure, etc. then I see this as a money making scheme for someone to make their pockets fat by doing nothing to deserve it! I will not be donating again, and probably not many other people who have been offended by this will either!

Topix just ate my post-----this group isn't registered with the Attorney General's office in any capacity. Report it to the prosecutor & sheriff dep't. They are illegally soliciting funds for their own profit.
