I live in childs lake estates, tasha baby-sat my cousin, recently, and dated my brother, like 4 years ago. she was a sweet girl, how dare this man come and take this woman's baby and do this to her and not get sentenced to death. he is a work of art to even believe in a load of crap, he is not god. nobody has the right to take someones life because of rejection. its kind of scary to in in a relationship in the first place and now something like this happens. god bless tasha and may she rest in peace. i will pray for her. as we all should do for or young women growing up today. god bless

I also live in Childs lake estates and just recently found out 2 people have been found dead in the park. Both in phase 1 of the park near the club house. Does anyone have more info on these. Have been searching and can't find a thing, I know it was a young girl was found raped and dead and a man found dead in a trailer. About a month apart from one another.

I live in Childs Lake also, first time hearing that anybody was murdered. I just was looking into complaints against the park because I am sick of the park harrassing me over b.s. I DONOT recommend moving here!!!! It's a major WASTE of cash to live in a mobile home community, Especially to finance what you thought was your own home. Management will harrass you the day you move in, until you finally get tired of their b.s. and move. Not to mention, you get a hellacious water bill and cannot even drink the water. Plan on buying LOTS of drinking water/cooking water, and DONOT give the water to you're dog, cause it will make him sick... If you think I am kidding, go get a mortgage and buy into this shithole

There is nothing wrong with the water, other than it is hard water. Get a water softener if you don't like it. I do agree the bills are high, but that is due to some fee they have on there - not sure if it's from the park or from the water company. My pets (nor myself or family) have never been sick from drinking the water. And if people take care of their homes and yards, they don't get harassed for not doing so.

As far as any deaths in the park, I only know of one murder and it was a female who was found down near the lake/park. I don't really know all the details and it was several years ago. I have lived in the park since 2000 and have been there through several management changes. None have been terrible and if you wish to live in a shithole then move to South Lyon Woods.
