If you are in Michigan, I recommend that you make the short drive to Indiana and shop at Kittle's Furniture. They offer brands that are much better quality......domestic and imported. Kittle's is also "family owned" and has a great variety of goods to choose from. The only draw back to shopping in Indiana is that you may need to pick up your furniture as I don't think that Kittle's delivers in Michigan. They do sell lines like Bernhardt, Better Homes and Garden, Kincaid, Lexington, Bassett, Hancock and Moore and other high ends. I know this as an area designer. When I looked at Art Van and saw that they sell Sauder....that was enough for me to look the other way. My clients deserve "real" furniture.

I would like to update my problem. Art Van replaced the seat cushions and re-died are love seat. It lasted about six months and the dye has warn off. We had called the service center numerous times and they said they would call us back. Well they never called us back. After 6 months we finally had a service person come out and they told us we had waited to long to have them come out....unbelievable! So we asked if they would redye the love seat and chair since they had dyed them previously....their answer NO! Said it was are fault....

Hey, how uneducated are you? Our love seat! Our problem! Our not are.

So we bought a top line mattress from Art Van a year ago. Over $1700 and now I roll into a depression every night that's so noticeable that if I move a few inches it is noticeably like sleeping on a hill. I'm told by the service folks that until the dip is over and inch and a half, it's not an issue they will address. Not the quality I expected.

This happened to me also, when I was using the cleaner, I noticed that it no longer foamed like it did in the other kit, but trusted it anyway. Well when I began, apparently some must have dripped off the sponge applicator and dripped onto my leather couch, in a matter of probably at most a minute of it sitting on the leather, it removed the color, in a panic I used a cloth to try to wipe it and it stripped the whole area of color, I am so sickened, and to also let you all know, I used the ink remover stick about 2 months before this, on an arm rest wedge, in my sectional and it removed the color too, Art Van did replace the piece, lets see how this one goes :(

This is EXACTLY what has happened to me. I am cleaning the leather per their directions, and all the color started coming off! I was like, WTF?
I am calling them Monday to see what can be done. I moved out of state, so lets hope this will not be an issue.

It ought to be "Do not shop at Walmart!!!" Given their history, Walmart in your area recently fired a worker for defending a woman in a fight in their parking lot, now that Walmart is feeling the heat from all the negative publicity surrounding this firing, they want to hire them back and this employee refused the offer, well I certainly don't blame Hiim, I would refuse the offer too. Those dirty scumbags need their socks sued off them!!!. This is not the omly time Scermy a** Walmart has done a disfavor for this country!. I am a disabled person and I wanted a job, I wanted a chance to prove myself worthy to society so I applied for a job at Walmart, needless to say, they would not hire me!. Those scermy ass rich scum don't care about their own country, they'd sell it out in a New York minute!!!. Rich people like Walmart don't care. They won't lift a hand to help America out, all they care about is their selfish, greedy, callous SELVES!!!. They don't want to help solve this countries problems. ITS EVERY RICH BASTARD FOR HIMSELF!!!.

Yeah, don't buy from Art Van. That place is a blatant ripoff. The sales rep is a slick talker, but it's horrid. We ordered a cocktail table with the lifting top. We were told it would take 2 weeks to get in and was one of the last to be made. After a month and a half the people FINALLY show up.. bearing the wrong damn table. We made them take it back and when we called the rep ordered the wrong table. So, two more weeks go by, and finally they bring us the table we ordered and it's not put together right. There's a screw missing, making the table lopsided and opending/closing it was a hassle. So, about another week later the tech shows up finally to put the screw in. Now that we can use the table after all this time, we discover the material is so shoddy that setting a laptop on the table marred it pretty deep. wtf

Hello, I concur, we bought wood table and chairs. Bought every protection they offered us. And now the table has a table cloth over it to hide all the issues with the wood. The technician even said he saw that we take care of it and well it was considered damaged. Needless to say we had planned on keeping this for a LONG time and well my husband will be removing the finish and redoing it (it is less that 2 years old) and will definitely be our last purchase from Art Van.

I have no problems with Art Vans, I get there every morning @ 9:30 am, go over to the bedroom sets, find a comfortable bed and sleep until 6 pm, leave the store and go to work. I collect bottles and cans and return them, go to 11mile rd. and get naked.

I bought a microfiber couch from Art Van a couple years ago and paid extra for the special stain guard and other stuff.

I used to hold these crazy swinging BDSM sex parties. Well, until last Saturday. Anyways, this last party got really out of control and my couch got stained with all this lube, enema discharge and some other mystery fluids. It wont come clean and it smells kinda funky, like I won't be able to get the smell out.

Do you think Art Van will actually honor the warranty in this case? I have not contacted them yet as I need to strategize how to do this.

we purchased broyhill coffee table and end tables and when we got it home there was a strip of veneer missing, a damaging scuff that lifted the veneer and a cobbled up drawer slide. We said we were unhappy with the mfg defects, damage and over all quality of their heirloom furniture, and wanted our money back... they sent a tech out to inspect and he lied and said there was nothing wrong with it. LIES... now we have to pay a 15% restocking fee for them to take back their crap. NEVER EVER will I buy Broyhill or from Art Van again.......EVER!

If you are as bright as the way you write I have to go with Art Van. Have you ever heard of the work "our"? If you have you might try using it in place of are when appropriate.
