I went to the 52 district court today in support of a friend. I sat in on 5 of judge MacKenzie's cases. I was affended and appalled by his behavior. I have never seen a man treat people so disrespectful. None of these people were there for violant crimes or were repeat affenders, they were just everyday people who made mistakes. I've never been in any legal trouble so I'm not sure how it works but I can't beleive this man is allowed to treat people in such a manor. Aperantly he has never made a mistake. I'm a simple man who does my best to live by the golden rule, the whole "do onto others" thing. I would never want to be treated like he treated those people today. I hope for his sack he never finds himself on the other side of that bench.

Amen my friend!I did have a very silly mistake a few years back. He and his cronnies went after me like hawks! It was almost laughable, only not at the time. I stood up in his courtroom and yelled at him! Someone needed to. I totally faced him. lol And I'm a quiet teacher (ok, maybe not quiet), and housewife from Walled Lake. Doubt he'll ever forget what I had to say about his "dog and pony show", which is exactly whatI called it. Ha! My lawyer was about to crawl under the table! Another ha..and husband too. Sure enough he sent the case to Pontiace where Mesner had my "hand slapped" for my courtroom outrage. That was the end of it.
But if I had to do it again...you better believe I would. Some judges think they are "above" the law! They are all pompous idiots over at 52! All three of them.
Don't even get me started about the 16 year old caught (first time offense-honor student) with a cigarette in Novi! OMG! You would have thought the kid had killed a family in cold blood!$5000. in court fee's and by the time it was over...he WAS 18. lol

They are above the law - judges. They know not to much, but they now people in the sytem.
Check only Milford City - in the middle of the city - last year where finished new building, tall and "huge" like for city with the limited parking spaces. Build most by Mexican builders.
Who own the building - answer _one opf the 52 second district court Judges.
With limited permitts in center of Milford, how the Judge get the permit to build the monster.
Power for the judge, your are only and also me, small dirt on the road.
Welcome to the Communsm in USA.

Judge McKensie was a judge that my brother seen for a big mistake he made twice. I never seen him disrespect my brother and my brother never did so to him either by lying to him, making stories, or playing games. I know he is very strict on drinking offenses because his daughter was killed in a drunk driving incident

My wife was there recently in support of our nephew and you are right on. It seems to me there has to be some where you can go to report this guys behavior. He berates everyone and acts like he knows everything they've ever done and it is all bad. He's not helping anyone - just building up his already super sized ego.

Hello again.
PEOPLE IN USA PLEASE REMEMBER ALWAYS:
the courtroom belongs to People, not to the Judge.
Judge job is only to judge the event on the base of the evidence and issue the penelty by the verdict, which must fit the crime.
If you do noit agree with the verdict or you are manipulated or discriminated by the judge or prosecutor -YOU CAN REQEST new judge na dnew Court. This is in the Constitiusion USA.
Do not be scare to say what you want to say w/out vulgar names.
Just be free American and you have the Rights to chalenge the Court and the Law.

If you are in court in front of a Judge, don't scream, use profanity, or be vulger in any way. This will cause a total lack of respect for YOU. Keep your chin up and handle the situation with a little finesse, while requesting a new Judge, and then taking your complaints to the state level. Make a difference by complaining in a rational way to a department or person who can help make a difference. Believe me, this does work!

I went through Judge MacKenzie's program of BS myself. In Feb 2006 I was arrested for a DUI, no accidents, first time offense for anything. I didn't smart off to the judge and told him I'd cooperate.

*I got $1800.00 fine
*50 hours community service - they picked it, I didn't - I had to do farming - yes with shovels, hoes, and picks.
*$325.00 alcohl awareness weekend in some jesus freak camp in Howell
*Sent to AA three times a week for the length of the probation
*No alcohol consumption the length of my probation
*Jams alcohol and drug testing 4x a week for two months -$12 a piss and blow.
*Jams holiday testing for the length of probation: includes testing twice a day often two days before and after the actual holiday
*Monthly probation officer visits
*I'm finishing my probation next week.

I here Judge MacKenzie's wife OWNS Jams. Is that true? Mr. MacKenzie's called me an alcoholic. After going to AA I know I'm not one of them. I also here the judge likes to go golfing, get hammered drunk, and try and drive on every Sunday. I Novi cop I used to work out with told me this. I don't know about the Jams thing but I do know that the Judge is an alcoholic in projection.

I like Judge McKenzie -- maybe if more judges were like him people would THINK before they make more "mistakes" ... sorry but I'm all for strictness in court.

I haven't met a judge yet, always fight traffic tickets, that wasn't drunk on power. Sounds like Mckenzie has taken the class in rudeness also.

I have to say he is the most insulting, uncivil human being I have even come into contact with in my entire life. I stood before him yesterday for my first offense D.U.I, which was dropped to an Impaired, after I was in an accident I did not cause. He told me I deserved to go to jail and that he could tell I had been drinking in the past two months by the way I walked up to the stand. Wtf? I was lectured for at least 12 minutes about how much of an alcoholic I was and that he knows all about me and people like me. That asshole doesnt know shit. I am a damn good person who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Yes, I was drinking and driving and I take full responsibility for that. I have learned a great lesson from this, however he feels it to be fair to sentence me to 2 years of probation, AA 90 times in 90 days, then 3 days a week until 2010, morning pbt's until the remainder of my probation, impact weekend, a CURFEW, fines up the ass, and humiliation I will live with forever. By the time all of this has passed, I will be 26 years old. I just turned 24. I can respect the fact that I deserve a punishment, but to belittle me in front of others as well as my parents, and disprespect me beyond comprehension is taking it too far.

Brian is a "MADD" show trial judge. He gets most of his re-election money from this organization. This is a fact. His show trials against drunk drivers are there to impress his MADD audience. They do sit in on his court room dramas from time to time. Part of his reason for the profanity, hostility, and disrespectful show is to maintain his MADD lobby money. Let's face it, he's pretty much a polititian - like most judges. If he had the opportunity to go on TV like judge Judy, he'd jump on it.
