Please involve me in any class action or civil action suit. I was there once in Feb. of 2002 and haven't been back since. I did't realize they still had not done any renovations. [email protected]

Someone mentioned that a class action suit was already in the works -- do we know anything more about this???

The most recent news is that there should be a court ruling regarding township finance toward the various improvements to the resort in the next 2 weeks , which should meet the requirements of RCI and ultimately lift their freeze. so their seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel

On top of all this there is a company calling the owners of these time shares, offering to sell them to corporations that would make use of the reciprocal time shares to house their employees around the country. For a fee they will market your share to these corporations.
5 & 1/2 months later no contact. Except today from another salesperson from the same company trying to see if I would like to sign up. Think I've been ripped off? I do. Be carefull if called by a company based in Florida.

I notice all the city people are moving to Vernon. Good - keeps them out of MY town.

Purchased 1 bedroom in 2000. Had some great day trips with my children and their friends with the outdoor pool. Unfortunately nothing is happening at the resort. Any lawsuits can include me. All I want is my money back.

I think we need to do something real soon! What will happen when the Legends is sold as condos, we may not get our Timeshare space there any longer. We paid a large amount just to trade it with RCI when it was a Gold Star. We could have purchased a cheaper exchange if this is what we wanted to do.
Star Island Resort in Kissimmee is offering to buy the timeshare and with an additional $5,000 payment give you a timeshare in Kissimmee. This doesn't do it for me. We need to unit with the Condo Board and get a lawyer to protect our interests. What we were sold, space at the Legends in a 5 Star Resort with amenities, discounts at Great Gorge and the best trading power! I haven't received any of this since I purchased back in 2002. contact me: [email protected] We need to take action now!

I talked with Star Island Resort in Kissimee today who wanted to take my Legends Timeshare and for me to pay an additional $5,000 to get a new Timeshare in Florida. Are these the people you are talking about?

Unfortunately, the class action lawsuit appears to be at a stand still and I'm not sure why. The attorney is Ryan Mulvaney in Newark and Morristown. Maybe the others here on this forum can find out some more info. We're really frustrated here. I know he has all of our names and addresses.... I would not pay Interval Realty one thin dime to advertise my timeshare. Legit or not, I wouldn't chance it. I would not pay the Legends owner(Hille Meyer and his cohorts) who also owns Star Island one more thin dime to pay back my timeshare at Legends. They have alot of nerve to ask more $5,000 plus the Legends timeshare when you could probably buy a Star Island timeshare for that price alone.

I think they are going to try to shaft all of the tmeshare owners (they already have) so they can sell the units as condos and make more money. We need to get together with the Condo Association President. I'll try to find out who that is. We don't have to wait for this lawyer Ryan Mulvaney, we look for a class action lawsuit attorney to file the suit. I met a guy who took on many automobile dealerships in NJ .. I'll see if I can find his card.

I will join this lawsuit. How do we find out who the president is. I've tried to call the office in Florida and they are just nasty. My fee is due and I don't want to pay, but you can't argue with these people. They just keep adding late fees. We are all out a lot of money for a timeshare we can't use or trade. We need to do something.

I am setting up a mailing list of owners.
My e-mail address is [email protected]

As of this writing it appears that Mr. Mulvaney will contact all owners about the class action lawsuit early next year.

I'm the person that gave you and others the info on Mulvaney. I e-mailed you and spoke with either you or mandel via phone-can't remember. Geri should have sent you my e-mail address. I would prefer not to add it here. I live in Vernon-could WALK to Legends. Bought the timeshare when Divi was managing it-6 or so years ago. Active in town affairs. Mulvaney was waiting to have this lawsuit certified over a year ago. Will be pleasantly surprised if/when this happens. Stay in touch.

RCI has announced that as of Dec. 29, 2006 that Legends Resort will no longer be participating in the RCI Exchange Program. I guess it is Now Permanent! What's the next step in receiving retribution for all the money paid to Legends as an RCI Timeshare Gold Crown Exchange? Is there a Board of Directors for the Timeshare?

Anyone have any suggestions?
