Does anyone know what happened on Canister Road this morning 7-31-06

As soon as I drove into the West milford side of Canister that were cops and fire trucks all over. they were in the woods looking for something, Anyone know what happened???????

I saw that too. My guess is that a car went off the road. I saw skid marks on the street and the Medical Examiners truck so I don't think they made it.

I assumed it was fatal due to the amount of respondants on the scene. If I find out I will let you know.

Just fgot word from the West Milford PD, it was fatal but no name was given.

It was Ted Carhart, age 25, of Highland Lakes.

I'm from W. Milford. One of these days someone'll do somethin' about the beginning of that road where u have to beep before going thru. It only allows 1 car to pass at a time. The way I figure it, it was only a matter of time b4 somethin' dreadful happened.
