I read the story about the SOB who raped the two girls and then dragged them through a horrendous trial to continue to cause them pain. I personally feel there should be harsher punishments for creeps like this. It was the two girls that have to serve the life sentence of mental anguish, while the SOB who did this to them gets a government paid bed and board for the duration of his sentence. Unfortunately a life sentence does not mean he will not get paroled to do this again. Execution would have been the only justice. What do you think about this case?http://www.bnd.com/532/st ory/1035246.html?mi_pluck_acti on=comment_submitted&qwxq= 617885#Comments_Container

Any girl can say that they were "raped" even if the statement is untrue. it is unfortunate for those girls who are actually raped and their abuser should be punished. however in many cases nowadays girls use the term "rape" because they know how much an effect and damage it can cause. I think because girls have so much power when it comes to these things, they abuse them. if a guy doesnt like a girl and she wants to punish the guy she can say that he "raped" her and it just wasnt causual sex. it is really hard to prove a case because its just her word against his. its really pathetic and sad that girls use that term when there are actual people out there who suffer and i think those girls have emotional/mental issues that need to be addressed. i think further investigation should always be addressed, unfortunatley many people dont have a fair trial and can spend time in jail for something they didnt do and have to live a lifelong role of a "predetor" or something much harsher just because it diddnt turn into a long lasting relationship like the girl wanted. i know many girls who have done this unfortunatley and get away with it. what a sad world we live in!

You are a sad, sad individual. You say you know many girls who have done this unfortunatley and get away with it. what a sad world we live in!
Sure you do, I'll bet you have a long line of underage girls lined up at your door to tell you how they want to frame some old man for rape because he doesnt want them. Who do you think you are kidding, you old pervert.
It is not a common thing for girls to lie about being molested, it is only a common thing for them not to tell because they think people won't believe them, such as you.

anon, actually i am a social worker and i deal with many young females of that nature that do lie about something as serious as rape. i am not old i am 28. i think it is sad that people would lie about this kind of thing because it is such a serious fact. i do feel bad for the girls that are raped and dont tell i really do, however there are alot of cases that are false and ruin many mens lives. so yes what a sad sad world!!

OK...I am confused. Julie, are you trying to say this sick excuse of a human being was set up and those girls were not really raped? I rarely agree with Anon on his posts but I have to team up with him/her on this one. If you are not saying this sick pervert is innocent then you had no right to post here and insinuate that he is. If you are saying that he is innocent then where are the facts? Were you called to testify on his behalf? Did these girls confess to you that they were setting him up because they were offended that he didn't want to have sex with them? I agree with Anon here that you are either not who you say you are or you are trying to justify what this pig did (or in your case didn't do but was set up).

I don't know which case this is referring to but I do know about a current case against a Highland man who "raped" a girl. This man had an ongoing relationship with a girl who one day decided to say he raped her. It was such a coincidence that it came soon after she asked him for a serious relationship and he declined. He was just sentenced for this “rape”. Funny how when this girl’s cell phone company was subpoenaed there were over 600 text messages from her to the man about how she missed him and wanted to hang out, etc, etc… So yes, it is sad but on occasion people do lie about this sort of thing.

I read the story too; he's 21, she's 17 - isn't it illegal to have relations w/ someone under 18?

This guy has been involved with legal troubles for quite a few years not to mention multiple, questionable behavior w/ females all over the area; according to the story.

I only pray that my daughters get enough guidance at home to avoid guys like this.

The legal age of consent in Illinois is 17.

you should get together with Gangster of Love and the other forum . You seem to have a lot in common, you delight in talking about sex and crime and your sicko fantasies.

Agree with Julie - have you followed up on the case you referred to back in 2009? Kinda interested as to how our laws and court system treated this 21yo and 17yo finding out that legal age of consent in Illinois is 17. This case would be walking the tight rope, depending upon month age 17 was reached. Lots of unanswered questions!!!
