sadly, intentional overdose leading to death is considered suicide. huffing air duster is one of the most lethel things a person could huff and many die from it every year, many the first time they do it. its a very sad thing that has happened and im sorry to the family.
And you would know that this was an "intentional" overdose how? The rest of the info you give is something people need to know, but for you to say it was intentional, well, I think you are out of line!

Well huffing is a voluntary act and it was stated that her actions lead to her death..... It's common sense..... Just my opinion!!!

number 5, if it was duster, then it is what it is. A true sorrow and loss are felt by many. However, if that is what led or contributed to her passing, then there is no shame is knowing or speaking of it. It is used by many with little knowledge of what it can turely do to the body. Maybe there can be some sort of good come from this and maybe help just one person. Like i said, IF it was duster, as I do not know. My prayers go out to her family. May they find stregnth in their higher power.

Maybe that is an opinion you should keep to yourself! Aren't you supposed to have a little compasion in your profession. There is an entire family that is grieving over our loss and what we don't need is to hear remarks like yours. I guess if you had been in the room with her you would know for sure if it was a "voluntary overdose", but you were not there. This is tragic and we are sorry to have lost her, but we do not need nor do we want your opinion!

"family" I understand you are dealing with a tragic loss right now.. maybe getting on here and reading what people are writing is not the best.. I understand you don't like what people are saying, but it is a public site.. I just wouldnt read it if it bothers you so much..

I heard about this and I don't know the girl personally, but I do have mutual friends. Kelsey was beautiful and from the sound of it, an amazing person. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who knew her and loved her. I'm sure this is a very difficult time for each of you and you have my deepest and most sincere sympathies.

For those of you spreading rumors and lies or simply making statements that you know nothing about... find something better to do with your life than to trash others while you still have a life to live. This was a girl who was taken very young, regardless of the circumstances. Let it teach you to live your life to the fullest each and every day. Love the people around you. Reach a hand out to those who need it. Do your part to make this world a better place while you have the opportunity.

Kelsey was an amazing friend. She brightened everyone's day and was an all around joy to be around. Regardless of the cause of her death I feel truly blessed to have known someone with such a big heart. I feel lucky to have been able to share desserts with her and make fun of how terrible we thought our job was. RIP Kelsey you're forever in my heart.

May I just say that if you do not know this girl, then let it be. The family does not need everyone asking.

SHE DID NOT COMMIT SUICIDE. SHE HAD AN ANEURYSM. Please stop the suicide rumors. Her friends and family are going through enough pain and sorrow without this rumor. They don't need an awful rumor adding to their pain.

So why is it then that not very long after she passed away, hundreds of texts came to me while I was asleep saying a) that she committed suicide, or b) specifically that she hung herself ?

I don't think lies spread that fast around town.

Basically, all I'm saying is that sure, Kelsey may have been a great person and all, but the truth is also that she was a girl who suffered from a lot of esteem issues, and no matter what the cause of her death was, ESPECIALLY if it had anything to do with air duster, I think that people have the right to know, because there will be many more young girls to come who will have to deal with these issues, and many more kids from Highland and surrounding towns to come who will abuse and huff air duster. I think it's time for some answers so that everyone can just chill out and finally be able to take it all in, and maybe even learn something. We don't want any more of our youth going out this way.

Actually "yeah" your prob just some nosey highlander who doesn't have a life and needs to know everyones buisness. This has nothing to do with anyone else but kelsey and her family. Air duster is something all kids should know about but isn't that a parents job to do to talk to their kids....you don't need to beg relatives and friends on the internet for information. They don't know you so they won't tell you...why? Its not your buisness!

It has been months since the tragic loss of Kelsey, and her memory still brings a smile to my face. She had a beautiful soul and she will never be forgotten. Kelsey-there's not a shift that goes by without thinking about the positive impact you left in this world. I love and miss you everyday.
