High point has got to be the most boring depressing place to ever come into existance.
It's amazing the people here have not all been committed to a mental institution for having been driven insane by the trivial monotonous fog in wich this town rests.
There is absolutely zero entertainment in this town, Unless of course you count the handful of pseudo wannabe biker bars here filled with rich douches talking smack riding around on $50k harleys.
This cemetery of a town should be leveled and turned into a landfill.
Holy shit!!! Someone who understands how boring this place is!!!! And the people?!?! They fu*%ing say "oh I'm sorry" when you sneeze!!! Ugggg

Yes it is boring, but it would not be as bad if some of the things you can do to entertain yourself were safe.

Walking is a fun recreation, and it is fun to do alone or in a group, if others will leave you alone to do so in peace. For some, walking is their only transportation. Yet it is not safe, particularly if you are a girl, to walk alone, especially around convenience stores.

Going to the library would be fun, but too many congregate outside and you have to walk the gauntlet to get inside. They may stand around and shout insults at pedestrians. The library even removed an outdoor sitting area and planted a garden there partly for that reason.

Theaters would be fun, but mostly riff-raff and juvenile delinquents go to those for the most part. The youth tend to bully anyone they see different, and the youth were not taught to leave adults alone. They even ruin the shopping experience for people in nearby shops.

Fixing or doing stuff in your yard would be fun, but too many nosy people, and too many wanting to interfere or force help onto you.
