High point has got to be the most boring depressing place to ever come into existance.

It's amazing the people here have not all been committed to a mental institution for having been driven insane by the trivial monotonous fog in wich this town rests.

There is absolutely zero entertainment in this town, Unless of course you count the handful of pseudo wannabe biker bars here filled with rich douches talking smack riding around on $50k harleys.

This cemetery of a town should be leveled and turned into a landfill.

thomasville is probably equally as shitty, I have traveled across the U.S. and i find that pretty much the south is the only place that sucks.(excluding florida and tx)

I guess i just wanted to lament about high point just to see if i am the only here that actually notices what a hell hole it is..

It isn't boring. There is a lot to do. Salting slugs, mashing bugs, watching paint dry...

We've all moved to China with the furniture business, have you not heard? The creation of jobs is in Brazil, China. We'll show them how, and shit can our good people here or stab them in the back for a penny. Greedy CEO's - we need to ship their ass over there for good. High Point use to be a great town, but like i said its all about money, I've seen one plant after another close down, poor people lose their jobs, these people knew what hard work was.

To be honest, I don't know what to make of the funiture biz in high point anymore.

There dosent seem to be much manufacturing here but there is the furniture market......

I don't get it... maybe it comes from thomasville.

You could always move your ass up north to a more pleasant place to live.

I also understand the Florida is running short on dumdasses.

The worst place in Texas beats where you live halfwit...I understand they're definitely not running out of dumbasses in your neck of the woods ....Houston is a very large city with some of the problems connected with that....but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages...you'd know that if you had ever lived in a town with more than a couple thousand people in it ....Gomer....

High Point is like the center of the universe compared to Kotzebue, Alaska. There is nothing to do there except get hammered every night.
