Did you know she hasn't worked in months but that she was still on the counties payroll. She was charged with stealing from someone who needed help, and she stole from the citizens of Ray County. She should have to pay back every dime of what she took AND what she was paid by the county. Bet if anyone else was suspected of stealing from the county, they wouldn't get a paid leave of absence, why did she get special treatment?
When a person is on Administrative leave from work for some reason, they are Intiled to there pay until they are arested.

If you only knew the real truth about this office. I know of some incidents that was covered up. Where is the oversight?
Don't talk or say anything till you know the truth. THERE have not been of anything covered up at this office. Every County office has a audit every year,so the auditors would have caught it.

Who gets to decide that she is on an paid leave? I would think that would be something worth putting in the paper.
I think that Ray County tax payers might have something to say about that. Or at least I would hope so. I know I am not at all happy about it...if its true.
Go talk to the commissioners

I'm with you, so far I see what was printed by if you contact the news, it will get further, I would like to know more, mostly about her being paid but not working. I would like to know some hard facts and maybe there is more that we need to know about other things going on around here too. I know about another office but that person is gone now and so just call the news, personally, I am sick of it too, I've seen enough around here to get out of dodge.
If you e-mail Marie Antonio she will e-mail you back.
Go for it, the majority is with you

I wanted to contract work but the work went to one of his friends or family members, how were they paid? Probably from the victim's petty cash fund, WHAT????.

LOL You Know YOU are the joke. Anything Mr Nolker does in his office have to go in front of the judge and the judge will look it over and the the judge will sign it.

Jokes not on me, Im not going to court for this. Nolker doesnt have to bring everything to the judge (Thompson) who recused himself. The judge hasnt used good judgement lately!!! and I suspect he will be investigated next.

All salaries of county employees are public knowledge; I saw them published in the newspaper a couple of months ago. If she was on leave someone had to fill in for her. Soooooooooo was someone else getting paid too, and if so we were paying double salaries as tax payers. If Ms. Leslie did get paid who authorized it, the county commissioners? Or did Mr. Nolker the Public Admin. turn in a bogus time card for her? Someone needs to investigate this; maybe we should give some of the tv reporters this info, or if any of the other Ray County tax payers have any idea, let me know. I will call whoever it takes. I am sick and tired of being ripped off!!!
I know for a fact that she was geting paid while she was off.It wasn't until last week that she stopped recieving checks. However, Kenneth didn't write any "bogus" time cards. The commisioners authorized her paychecks.

First of all, they are NOT audited every year. The state comes every 3 years and audits the whole county, but they do not dig in to each individual's file that is served by the PA and audit each file.

Secondly, if what you say is true, and they were audited every year, then why wasn't this caught before? She has allegedly been stealing since 2008....it is now 2011 and she wasn't even questioned about it until the beginning of this year.

Third, how do you honestly stay someone wasn't trying to cover this up. A theft has occurred in this office for over 3 years. The PA's office is a very small office. It is impossible to have a theft go on like this one in a small office for so long with out anyone else knowing about it, unless no one else is doing their job at all. So you have two possible scenarios. 1) Either there has been a cover up and others knew about it and didn't rat or 2) Other employees were literally not doing their job at all to miss this under their noses.

So in either scenario, should anyone else keep their jobs over there? You have a coverup of a crime or a failure to perform basic duties. Anyone with half a brain working in an office that handles money for other people knows that you have to have checks and balances in place to catch this very sort of thing. Ignorance of the law is not a defense, and the same should apply here. Just because you're not smart enough not to put millions of dollars in the control of one person with no oversight whatsoever doesn't mean that you should get to keep your job when oh my, that person ends up stealing.

And I was going to ignore all the REDI group comments, but I can't anymore. Someone said that all those names on the REDI group are serving our community for the betterment of our community, but the $25,000.00 is just the last round of money that we have given them, and I can't see what any of that money went for. Richmond has high taxes, high water bills....why would anyone want to bring their business here? Richmond is in the business of screwing its citizens, and the REDI group is just another example of that.

That is all I have to say.

Ok, you shouldn't be allowed to make posts at all. The judge does not review everything that happens in the PA's office. You're a moron. If that were true genius, then why didn't the judge catch the theft years ago?

"Grammer" is actually spelled "grammar". And your punctuation is nonexistent. People who live in glass houses really should NOT throw stones.

What is it that they have done? I think they are a bunch of stuck up butt heads who wouldn't stop to help someone if they had to.
