If Richmond residents think this is an isolated incident, think again. I think the investigator should look at all past wards handled by this individual. It takes a low class person to take advantage of the most vulnerable citizens. But who was supposed to watch her? I think this has been happening for years and sealing from more than one person. Shame on people who steal from the most vulnerable people of our society

Did you know she hasn't worked in months but that she was still on the counties payroll. She was charged with stealing from someone who needed help, and she stole from the citizens of Ray County. She should have to pay back every dime of what she took AND what she was paid by the county. Bet if anyone else was suspected of stealing from the county, they wouldn't get a paid leave of absence, why did she get special treatment?

If you only knew the real truth about this office. I know of some incidents that was covered up. Where is the oversight?

Then why didn't you report it if you know so much.

Who gets to decide that she is on an paid leave? I would think that would be something worth putting in the paper.
I think that Ray County tax payers might have something to say about that. Or at least I would hope so. I know I am not at all happy about it...if its true.

I want to know how one sleeps at night when you have taken such advantage of the most vulnerable people in our society and have misused such a trusted position of authority?

And how does this happen in an elected office for at least 3 years with out anyone noticing? Are there not any checks and balances in place? Do they not have any manner of self auditing? I would say that this woman's boss(s) are just as culpable. Maybe not legally speaking but should anyone in this office get to keep their jobs?

Ray County tax payers need to rise up and take hold of this entire situation. Who knows how many other vulnerable individuals have been victimized? In my opinion there is not a strong enough sentence for this person. But we all know that that she will likely get off with probation.:( What a joke.

He was defended because he paid his debt to society and has moved on.

So by that logic, let's let pedophiles work in day cares. As long as they pay their debt to society and move on, it should be OK, right?

I don't think so, I believe the Deputy PA is assigned by the PA, who is elected.

Are you really going to compare pedophiles to this? Besides, what the person is doing with the REDI group has no control over money.

All salaries of county employees are public knowledge; I saw them published in the newspaper a couple of months ago. If she was on leave someone had to fill in for her. Soooooooooo was someone else getting paid too, and if so we were paying double salaries as tax payers. If Ms. Leslie did get paid who authorized it, the county commissioners? Or did Mr. Nolker the Public Admin. turn in a bogus time card for her? Someone needs to investigate this; maybe we should give some of the tv reporters this info, or if any of the other Ray County tax payers have any idea, let me know. I will call whoever it takes. I am sick and tired of being ripped off!!!

I'm with you, so far I see what was printed by if you contact the news, it will get further, I would like to know more, mostly about her being paid but not working. I would like to know some hard facts and maybe there is more that we need to know about other things going on around here too. I know about another office but that person is gone now and so just call the news, personally, I am sick of it too, I've seen enough around here to get out of dodge.
If you e-mail Marie Antonio she will e-mail you back.
Go for it, the majority is with you

BRAVOOOO Dirty Dirty Dirty. Her boss is the public administrator Kenneth Nolker. If these ladies scammed this much, how much do you think he and his "contracted people" has put away????? I wanted to contract work but the work went to one of his friends or family members, how were they paid? Probably from the victim's petty cash fund, WHAT????.

The hell they don't. The council voted to give the REDI group $25,000. Where do you think that money comes from?

The person that you are referring to has no control of the money in the REDI group except for his own salary. The REDI board is who has control over the money. This board includes: Ron Brohammer, Gregg Steele, Jonathon Renfro, Thurza Falls, Chris Brown, Dave Powell, Melissa Miller, Bill Downs, Werner Moentmann, Bob King to name a few. He does not have the check book. He is not authorized to sign checks. Etc... Is it at this point that I point out AGAIN that he was voted to be the President of the State of Missouri Economic group AFTER he served time in jail. If you have a problem with it, where were you then? He has also served in a similar capacity in the same county that he served time. You are getting a good quality person for minimal cost.

You rarely ever read most of those names in the paper, yet those people work hard for the betterment of the community.
