the initials are obvious, but honestly who cares maybe once again worry about you and yours because the next name on here may just be your name or initials, isnt there enough important things to talk about or better yet things to talk about that a change can actually be made, school board..........seriously is something you can participate in if you have concerns or issues,is this the place to discuss....I highly doubt it,I know both of the gentleman that is getting bashed on here and guess what they couldnt care less what is said and wont address any issues here but do welcome anyone to join the meetings or stop by for a visit, get a grip people no one here really cares because if they really did they would know this isnt the place to address their personal problems, another word to the wise you may be careful listing these seniors last names.Think about it would you like someone talking about your son, daughter, nefew, niece or neighbor, your answer should be no,so dont do it!Be polite

Missouri is ranked 41 in United States. Some schools go 5 days per week and the schools are open on Saturday for tutoring not only by educators but community people who would like to give as well as gifted students that help.. This could be an A plus program..It isn't just Lexington by no means but Lexington is small enough to do something different without so much red tape If we are going to any state competition the fields, weight room, practice music rooms are open.

the reason missouri is ranked 41 is the kcmo school district and st louis schools...they drag the entire state down...pretty much all the other schools do ok or better

The district is still operating at a deficit. Finances are not in order. They are doing a good job of covering it up.
Also the tests scores are going down, not up.
test scores are going down? This years senior class has already doubled the act scores from last years senior class

I haven't had a problem with brad but the high school is absolutely rediculous! Marlin needs to go or at least step down toa position that he can handle. Test scores are dropping kids are dropping out or moving because they are always wrong. The teachers are always right and unless you are one of the fabulous top families the kids get over punished for little things but no one is doing anything about the very large under age drinking problem going on. It should be mandatory for al juvenile officers to report to school especially if the kids are in athletics. Swartz boy was finally caught on camera drunk with open container. No one did anything. He is drunk about every weekend. If that would have been one of the other kids they would have lost everything!
So when you went to high school no one was under age drinking??? hmmm...doubt it. By the way get your shit straight you fucking dumb ass. Im glad you like to start rumors, good for you...dont you have something else better to be doing??? haha Probably not, who wants to be envolved with someone who shit talks on hs students? How pathetic.

5 candidates for two positions.....

Charles Hollingsworth, Mary Kate Alkire, Scott C. Hamilton & Tim Dougherty are all challengers, while Steve Kaullen is an incumbent.

Board member Mark Summerlin, who has served two terms on the board, is not seeking re-election

If you want real change, I would vote for the first two on the list above.

The school board forum was last night. Only candidate against 4 day school week was Hollingsworth. Everyone else is along for the ride of destructing our schools even more. If you really want change, make your vote count and don't just sit around and complain.

Are any of the candidates in favor of gay marriage rights? And shouldn't there be gay couples at every high school prom?

wow. only 1 candidate is for canning the 4 day week. and it only saves the district a drop in the bucket (less than 200k, which is a tiny percent of the overall school budget)

If your last name starts with a D,S,O,C then your well on your way to a bright future...get real people if you want changes this isnt the place to start, get involved with the schools and the inner circle that threads our town, all 4 of the initials above are great kids doing nothing more than what YOU or anyone else has done and may still be doing.Mr. Roach is a approachable man...so go visit him,Coach Mac is also a great resource....go visit him.The both of them have doors that are always open, stop this here and go to the source of your so called troubles,be a man or a woman about if and plea your case or concerns, its pretty easy guys,as Ive read I think you all are going about this the wrong way,Logo come on is that the problem,a person caught drinking....really?Go around town and vidio some drug deals..do something worth doing
I have approached both of them and they both have arrogant attitudes and try to make you feel ignorant. You must be in their little clique to say this bull---- about them!
