The People's Forest picnic area in Barkhamsted was nearly empty Sat. In 20 years of being there, I have never seen that few cars. If it hadn't been for a great snake exhibit, it would have literally been empty at 11AM.

Too bad gas prices are so high,I would of liked to have spent time with my grand kids at the beach or state park.Instead I have to work an extra shift to afford the higher cost of gas to go back and forth to work.What a way to live.
