Full story: Hartford Courant

Move over, Burt's Bees, you've got competition from a Connecticut Yankee. Bobbie Davis' RubIt! hand balm has the same sort of humble, homegrown back story as Downeast Burt's and might be on a similar trajectory ...

This suff is amazing. All plant based ingredients and it works great for people who need help with their hands, elbows, knees and heels...esp. the heels... It's not greasy like regulary salves and you take it out ot the container, like a bar of soap to rub it into dry cracked skin. I lasts for ever but don't sweat it....a friend or family member will make off with it before you have a chance to use it up. Everybody loves rubit, even pets! The tin lasts forever if you can hang on to it. great for purse, back back etc. wont melt or leak. Ultra cool healing balm for tough skin. Especially helpful orf eczema and psoriasisl A bargain at $8 since it lasts forever, Nature lovers swear by it.

So was that comment from Ted (of Wallingford) or BJD - Bobbi Davis - the inventor of rubit?

I don't mean to be simple minded but Mr. Eccelstyn's comment is signed by "BJD" (note the initials at the bottom of his post) these initials would point a finger signed by the inventor (a push for the product). No harm, good product, but come on???

~hmmmm. I just found this blog and am impressed that this info is here. I had no idea that someone had written a compliment. That they knew my middle initial is ever more odd. Well....everyone needs Rub It Skin Balms at some point during the year...it works and it's all natural, made in CT by me for all. Cool.

Try it....lots of stores on our website.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Taurus

It's no good - the prospect of visiting the post-Christmas sales has become too tempting for you to resist any longer. No matter what you're doing today, you'll try to squeeze in the opportunity to dash around some of your favourite shops and see what's on offer. You could snap up some bargains but you should guard against the urge to splurge on items that you don't really want or need. The price of something may have been slashed but the acid test is whether you'd still buy it if it were full price. If not, leave it in the shop!
