We all had a great time downtown Higbee Saturday night and we raised over 10,000 dollars for the Strain family. Great job everyone, thank you to the churches of Higbee for the use of chairs and tables, thanks to the special ladies of Higbee for the baking of the cakes, thanks to the guys who did the cooking, as you can see this was a team effort-People Helping People Im proud of all who helped in any way. Also thanks to the young gals who ran the dunking booth. Thank you C.W.P. for hosting this special event.A BIG THANK YOU TO STOKER ACE who donated their time and talent. God bless you all

The HCBA booth and our helpers had a great time, we were all sticky at the end of the night due to the ice cream, fruit slushes and the spilled milk my grandson managed to do not once but 3 times. lol It was a lot of work, a lot of fun, for a great family and refreshing/a good feeling to see everyone out and about. Someone asked me about moving the fair back downtown due to the fact of everyone mingling together. Please continue the prayers for Bridgette and her family. The money we raised is great, but she needs us all in prayer and thought as well.

I was friends with Bridgette many years ago when she lived in IL and was shocked to find out that she was diagnosed with leukemia. I can only say that I'm glad you said what you did. That forum should have been only for Bridgette's benefit not to post snide remarks.
